About a day after the events hithertoo described, the column is slowly wandering through a pleasant green valley that the North Road plows through.

as I see noone cares to join me I'll go and have a walk in front.

And i'm walking, and walking...and walking, and...oh,..walking!

Farael jumps forward from the caravan he had been riding atop of. He starts yelling out orders to halt the column.

When I hear the noise I stop and approch my mates.Palanfirith thinks"What does he wants?"

Talin, who had been near the head of the column near Palanfirith, looks to Farael. "Farael, what is it? Why are we halting?"

"It's getting dark," says Farael.

Now he mentions it, it IS a very gloomy afternoon. Yesterday was sunny, but today deep and low cloud has cast a gloom opver everything.

"It is rather gloomy...is it usual for the skies to be occassionally dark like this, during the day?" Talin asks. He is suspicious of the weather.

"i still think it should have been better to travel on ourselves" says vardalain noticing this other delay

*looks at the clouds* rain?

"I doubt it," says Farael. "And that it grows dark just as we enter the valley... RIDERS" he yells.
