Guild Wars 2 finally starts to come to life

Apologies.

Though can it at least be acknowledged that I was not trolling until after Juk3n and Ushgarak wrongfully said/implied that I was? The only reason I started was because of the hostility I was receiving from Ushgarak (who as a mod should know better), Juk3n, and Burning Thought.

You're still trolling. Cut it out and post on topic or you will be out of here.

Something fairly small, as far as things go, and probably of limited interest.

Me, though? Hell YES am I interested in this.

Seriously, we're not going to go into how long I spend trying to get my armors dyed the color I want (and I have a ridiculous amount of armor across my characters). Or how annoying it can be when mixes doesn't apply the same on different sets. Or how annoying it can be when an armor set has large chunks that aren't dyeable.

So I find this very yay 😄

Slightly "hmmm" about the unlock thing, but considering how I've unlocked just about everything ever in GW, I've a feeling it won't take me long to unlock a good majority of the ones that aren't initially available 😛

Yes, poor old Paragons were always stuck with a choice of 'white' or 'white with a couple of non-white patches'. As if they needed more help looking flagrantly homosexual.

My Paragon is actually the one I don't mind the big patches of undyeable armor...trying to remember how I came up with the color I used, on the other hand...the set of armor I have that is the biggest annoyance with that is this one, as the cloth parts can't be dyed and the tattoos all sort of tend to go the same color. Hmph.

GIRL Paragons don't look gay... sadly..

Loot and armour and stuff...

All fairly reasonable. The transmutation system allowing vanity looks for armour is a good idea.

...I love that idea. Probably far too much. But considering how much time I spend going through armor combos trying to come up with something just right and trying to pick something I like the look of...awesome.

And...oh my god, those designs. That leafy-looking set in particular...<3

You can type in your character's name and it'll tell you what you've unlocked for GW2. It goes by a point system. I have 21/50 right now.

I've got a Raccoon minipet, among a bunch of other things 😂 I love raccoons 😱

Only thing I'm missing for armor is Obsidian armor...which is sadly probably never going to happen (they're expensive and for the most part pretty ugly). I'm sure I can rack up more points pretty easily though.

Just scrolled through the other rewards I've unlocked...KITTY. Orange tabby cat minipet...awesome. Sadly, no bunnies that I see.

Ah crap, so much to do...

As long as I get to 25 points, I think I'll be happy. 30 will never happen.

Dedicated one of my rare minis, so yay I have 22 right now. I don't really care about any of the rewards for past 25 anyway, so I'll be happy with that. And it should be very easy for me to get that. Hell, I could go do that right now in however long it'd take me to 1) kill Shiro again and 2) run over to Slaver's Exile and craft a Destroyer weapon.

...okay so playing around with it, I lied. I should be able to get to 30 pretty easily 😛

Damn straight I can make 30. But can I make 35?

Crap, you score for a PvP trophy... can I be bothered?

PvP trophies are a pain. I have a grand total of one point on PvP titles.

I think I'll probably max out around 32-33. At that point I'll just stop caring 😛

Yeah, I don't think I'll be scoring that one. Hmmmmm...

I could have ten times as many miniatures as I have and I think I'd score one darn point.

20 miniatures gets you two points!

I'll have that one in just a matter of time, I'm at 13 right now and I should start getting my second birthday ones pretty soon (and I still have a character or two that hasn't gotten their first birthday mini). And I have one rare and one unique so yay, those are worth extra points.

im going for 30, im a warrior, so i want my Fellblade as my great sword weapon swap out, the ons that cost shit loads of money and RIDICULOUS amounts of time can go hang, i'll get all the hero armors a couple of pets and all the 15k armor sets and i'll be set at 35.

good lil bit of info they've released there.

Well, you get the Fellblade at 23. The only actual weapon that's in there that I want is the Living Shortbow - it's pretty much the Dryad's Bow, which I've always loved the design of, and since I'll probably be playing Ranger, yeah, I want it.

I'll probably max out around 33. At 25 right now, should be able to hit 30, probably won't progress much past that since past that is just titles which I am less interested in.

See, now I am calculating the LAZIEST way to get to 30. I am one point short. I can get to 29 with what I already had planned out, so it's about the least troublesome final one to get.

Yay lazy.

I'm kind of doing the same, too - it's pretty much a case of "what am I close to finishing anyway and can finish up for this?"

I could not miss Canthan New Year for once to get a rare mini. Never actually made it to that before.
