Nah, it's real, but it's just deception at its finest simultaneously.

He's using the 2005 Glossary definition, which for that ONE entry/year
Marvel did join the club of allowing their Omniverse to be part of other companies.

What slicky up top won't show you,
is how Marvel got off that ban wagon the very next year,
and then clearly differentiated their Omniverse
from others in their UPDATED 2007 glossary of terms:
.............................................................................................................

1. Omniverse

2. TOAA

1. "Group of alternate universeS which encompasses ALL Reality"

2. "The entity believed to be the Supreme being/Creator of the Omniverse"

.....................................................................................................

Unless TOAA Created DC the "real World" and all other verseS in other companies,
Marvel MUST have their own Omniverse. 🙂

Nice try with the OLD GLossary entry slicky.

[thread]

SIX On Panel depictions of the Marvel Omniverse! (actually Illustrated)

..........................................................................

Earth X Trilogy - (2000)

"The Omniverse"

..........................................................................

Infinity Abyss - (2002)

"An Infinity beyond Infinity"

..........................................................................

Exiles - (Mid 2007)

"I offer the Omniverse"

..........................................................................

X-Men Die by the Sword - (Late 2007)

"Not long ago, the Omniverse was swept
by a Temporal Reality Wave of unimaginable power,
that literally tore the Continuum to bits and Re-arranged it"

..........................................................................

Exiles - (2008)

"Those lights we've been assuming was a star, just as we see from Earth,
they represent entire Dimensions.

I think that's a representation of the entire Omniverse,
we're looking at All Creation"

.................................................................................................................

.................................................................................................................

Exiles (May 2008)

It seems in May 2008 these insane writers of the Exiles
(amongst others like X-Men, Quasar, Earth X, Infinity Abyss, Avengers, FF and Marvel Handbooks)
still think there's a Marvel Omniverse:

"Some heroes protect cities, some countries, some Worlds,
but who's looking out for the ENITRE Omniverse
? ...

... One band of heroes shouldered the weight of ALL Possible UniverseS"

................................................................................................

This ain't just talk neither!

................................................................................................

Until we see an artistic representation On Panel of the Omniverse they're taling about,
the Omniverse they transcend and protect on the very next page: (same issue May 2008)

"Behold Crosstime ... perhaps more properly known as the Omniverse.

An Infinite number of conceptual Alternatives for All the Worlds of Creation,
we're LOOKING at the variations of SOL III, (Earth-616) better known as the planet Earth,
from this perspective, THIS World looks very much like our own"

................................................................................................

(Bio)

.................................................................................................................

=================================================

(Official Marvel Handbook update - Winter 2007)

Spiderman Handbook - (Late 2007)

Core Continuum Designation

"Numerical identification given to each Earth in the Omniverse"

=================================================

Here are a few examples of Marvel's Core Continuum DesignationS:

..................................................................................................................

"Crooked World - Core Continuum Designation: Earth-238"

..................................................................................................................

"2020 - Core Continuum Designation: Earth-8410"

..................................................................................................................

"Earth A - Core Continuum Designation: Earth-721"

..................................................................................................................

And thanks for making Marvel's hyperbole that much more obvious.

Sorry, but nothing that Marvel does would effect the omniverse. The actual omniverse that there is one of.

Marvel doesn't have their owen omniverse that's just stupid as there's only one omniverse and prepeated misuuse of a term is no justification for it.

It's hyperbole if you think it means the real omniverse.

Or are you saying we're not part of reality?

HA!

I don’t place much stock, on bio entries. Their only purpose is to supplement an explanation. And despite the fact, the 2007 entry did not retcon 2005 entry on Omniverse. Only shorten its explanation.

I don’t see, how that warrants a deceptive ploy on my hand. I am not the one, adding unneeded text opinion.

😆

That's enough Cresh.

This thread is going nowhere fast.

So why the hell did you post the 2005 Handbook retconned glossary then?

All of a sudden, when you see your "omniverse" definition is inconsequential,
you don't put stock in Handbooks. 😂

Because an explanation needed to be supplemented.

See still no retcon, just a shorten explanation.

And all though, Marvel did not make the “Real World” or Create DC comics. It has and still makes joint collaborations with DC, Top Cow, Image etc.. As to write about occurrences taking place in the real world. Take for example Marvel 1985, or the various times Writers and Editors make guest appearances.

Sorry, its hard to resist continuelly correcting an incorrect useage.

I mean hell with this we should start accepting every little mistake that marvel writers make, as if it was everyone in marvel saying that. Storm can fly on solar winds! Woo!

Even though a solar wind is a discharge of superheated ionized particles from the sun

That's okay, because even though that's not what was depicted, just because marvel said that's what was happening (because one writer didn't understand what a solar wind was) that must be what happened... And Spiderman? Totally kicked Firelord's ass, Marvel said so. excellent
