When/where has Batman shown us that he can take 1/2 of a machine-gun clip and get back up?
McClane has faced someone faster and more agile than Batman though, "Hamster-Boy" from DH4. He was also armed with guns.
How did that fight end? Oh right. Lots of Luck and the fact of WHERE they fought sure helped McClane knock him down......
As for the "1/2 Clip" thing. Who is to say he will get hit by the entire half of that? Like I said before Batman would go for cover AS SOON as he saw the gun being raised. The majority of the time McClane had the gun down because he was on his ass. Im speakin of DH1 btw, since this entire thing takes place in Nakatomi building....
"Hamster-Boy" Was faster enough to get out of the line of sight from McClanes shooting. and Batman has had better training.
McClane still beat a guyswho's faster/more agile, which was a point why Batman wins someone was making. That and the typical "because he's Batman."
I was being generous and assuming Batman's actions and the gun-shake would make at least 1/2 the clip miss, even 1-2 rounds would be enough tp drop Batman and/or severly incapacitate him. You're assuming McClane would be walking around with his gun aimed down, when he's in a building full of well armed terrorist. Retarded, that.
Hamster-Boy was a parkour master and he had the perfect environment to get out of the way (dropping down to lower levels). Just saying "better training" doesn't really mean shit, we go by movie-feats.

Im not saying McClane WOULD do that. Im saying he DID do that in the first one. I mean I would slack too if I was in a terrorist situation. Remember McClane is just an ordinary cop with no great feats in the first one. He was just unlucky. He wasnt a GREAT cop or anything. So lets remember THAT when I try to explain stuff.
"Hamster-guy" was more Agile then McClane so he was able to jump around the pipping. But this isnt about who McClane HAS beaten. Its about Batman and McClane.
