Your argument that Batman kicks a lot of ass in H2H, up close isn't the issue, as he does. Just that he'll likely get shot before he can close the McDistance in this specific scenario, as his stealth advantage is lost from the beginning. This is the argument, I believe.

I'll try to clear things up.
Batman's trumping of McClane in Hand to Hand Combat is not the only deciding factor of this versus Match-up.
In the video I posted, Batman is spotted by a man with a machine gun, fired at, avoids the bullets, and virtually disappears - all in a matter of seconds.
Batman is not gimped in this situation with no gadgets - so he has free reign with any grapple guns and batarangs. Increasing the odds of his victory.

Mc Clane started with ONLY his police gun and as the movie progress he got a hold of a machine gun and the explosives.

That scene in the video (unless I looked at the wrong section), the thug doesn't see Batman, shoots and Batman avoids the bullets. The thug sees Batman's shadow as he moves, then fires.
Batman took them out using his stealth and speed. Not just speedily avoiding bullets while kicking ass, there is a huge difference between the two. Especially how it relates to this scenario, where they spot each other.

You might be looking at the wrong section.
The thug sees Batman (you can tell its not a shadow because you can breifly see his face.) fires, and Batman can move out of the way. He moves quick enough to move the streams of bullets (whether that's with the use of his grapple, or just his speed isn't clear.)
I don't see why McClane is going to react faster than Bats would. If he can move his body even slightly, the bullets should do no harm.
The batsuit made by Lucius Fox has a kevlar bi-weave armor - causing it to be able to deflect any bullets short of a straight shot point blank impact.
