His bat-dick...?Hails of hot lead FTW.
well since real bullets don't work on ficticious movie characters...
as i meant to say earlier i couldn't care less about how fast actual bullets fly since film makers do not either.. all the stuff about how fast bullets go i could not care less about..
if you want to use that excuse that McClane will be dead in a matter of seconds, but since the film makers thought maybe they had a posiblle hit film they were not applying actual laws of gunfire and neither am i and since the batsuit can withstand gunfire to the head or anywhere else, McClane will be one shotted, very nice and easy
I can do the silly smillie too
crylaugh
you see unless there is a scene in die hard where they waste time explaining real actual laws of bullet physics, please find that scene..
second please highlight the specific portion in the OP where it states that McClane sees and shoot Batman other wise i will say my opinion irregardless

Huh, I thought that it meant the laws of physics failed to come into play when Batman is around.

They're scraping the barrel now, aren't they. Sad. "But, but, but McClane will be too busy to shoot."
Bullets travel at the speed of sound in real life, the same can be said for the movies. You are now officially trying to change the laws of physics to support your sinking argument. Keep it up though, you're just digging yourself an endless abyss.

It's just that you actually went there after I posted this haermmLike Rob said:

unfortunately movie bullets and real bullets are two different things, you fail to see that.. you're the one digging into an endless abyss not I..
You see if actual bullets were shot at McLane by say a real terrorist like the ones on the real Most Wanted list then your lucky cop will be deaad in like one second,

Think about this....McClane avoids being shot left and right, far more than Batman does.....Just toss that around a bit. Batman relies on his armor to avoid being shot, McClane relies on...well, skill. He AVOIDS gunfire, Batman, while evading it, relies FAR MORE on his armor deflecting it. Yeah, think about that, let it all sink in.
What does it mean? Survey saaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaays.......McClane is better at evading gunfire than Batman is.
SWISH, 3 pointer. End of game.

who cares where die hard is located but the naaktomi(sp?) scenes were filmed right here in losa angeles, ca..
and as for your second part, well no duh,, you and the others brought the stuff about the lkaws of physics and reality into this for what purpose i have no idea and nor do i care, but i would hope you get my point..
oh and btw, why are avoiding the question i asked you
Originally posted by BruceSkywalkerWhat question? The one on where in DH were the laws of physics regarding bullets and their flight time is explained? Dude, it doesnt need to be explained, its based in the real world, real world physics apply.

Thats the only thing resembling a question you posted.
I know you dont care about the laws of physics, I know its too much for you, I know its hard to face the fact that your hero has no chance here. Its OK, really, I feel your pain.
Bullets fly at the speed of sound in real life AND the movies, Bruce, accept it.

you continue to make me laugh.. i am talking about the question about where it states in the OP about McClane seeing Batman and shooting him so please highlight that specific portion...
second what laws of physics in Die Hard if what you want to believe is true than McClane should be dead, very very very dead, but yet he avoids phony, not REAL bullets, so the argument of bullet physics don't fly, but i have time and i will play...
movie physics law 101, Batman '89 Batman blocks a bullet, Batman takes submachine gunfire and gets back up... Batman Forever, Kilmer Batman leaps over submachine gun fiire with the greatest of ease, Batman Begins, oops well no bullets in there since Batman is shown as someone whpo avoids bullets and in The Dark Knight Batman beats up everyone who had guns and after getting shot by Two face Batman gets back up, saves a 10 year boy with just one hand, falls off the ledge, talks to Gordon and runs away and sky rockets off

I forgot I made that smartass post. Anyway, yeah, there are probably some nerd middle school kids that had that conversation....but their comments were actually serious.

Depending on the gun he means by the MP5 or whatever, it could be double the speed of sound if they are using a gun that uses that NATO rounds. But, yeah, his berreta is going to be shooting at close to the speed of sound.

I disagree. I think Batman does more bullet dodging, by far. That's what he does, every night, really. 😬

Batman lies next to John and knocks him out wit the stench of his rotting corpse after a while..McClane wakes up and pukes at the stench, the victor.
The end.
Fu*k THAT!
😛 Youre probably right. Theres no way to debate with people who think that:
A) Batman moves fast enough to evade 5 machine gun shots to the upperbody and then face, let alone 30 or so from close range.
B) That Batman is actually bullet proof in the face.
Once that side had rejected logic to that extent, its a no-contest bout.
