Batman vs. John McClane

Theres no way to debate with people who think that:

A) McClane can beat Batman.

B) McClane can beat Batman.

Once that side had rejected logic to that extent, its a no-contest bout.

Since I haven't read anything but the first post, has the scenario been changed to starting with McClane's machine gun beng perfectly aimed at Batman's face and him already having pulled the trigger? Cause otherwise, I'd think that the speed of bulltes is not absolutely important to this scenario, more McClane's aim, speed and reflexes and Batman's speed, dodging, hiding skills.

This seems like Bob Lee Swagger all over again anyways.

Actually, Placidity....

Youre probably right. Theres no way to debate with people who think that:

A) Batman moves fast enough to evade 5 machine gun shots to the upperbody and then face, let alone 30 or so from close range.

B) That Batman is actually bullet proof in the face.

C) The weeping, stamping, crying and relying on fingers in the ears nyyyyyah nyaaaaaah nyahhhhhhhhing is the way forward in a progressive debate.

D) If they debate hard enough for Batman against all proven likelihood, that he invite them round to slide up and down his batpole, whilst the latest nipple suit wearing young ward locks his lips around their cocks and Robin gets a bobbin'. 😛

Once that side had rejected logic to that extent, its a no-contest bout.

Yippeekiyay, Bullet ridden Batcorpse.

Guano will be revealed after this, to contain a high level of lead in it.

Except that RJ's actually more-likely right in this instance.

No I say he aims for the upper chest and pulls up his aim to the face in a reasonably quick movement.
The chest is the bigger target. When they hit home unbalancing Batman, the rest slamming through his face is a no brainer.

McClane's bullet's speed, and his awesome aim would indeed suffice.

So with you and Placidity going it it on this one, is itsafe to assume that this is national butthurt for Germany after Die Hards 1 and 3...? 😛

Thread needs to be closed, turned into a doo-doo fest.

Okay, we assume Batman just stands still then? Or that McClane can raise and shoot the weapon instantly?

Even if you assume that Batman couldn't move his body an inch before McClane, what's to stop him from throwing a batarang, or smoke grenade or one of the knives in his gloves?

We all know that McClane is far from a perfect shot, as well.

Nah, it's definitely not a clear win for McClane. And it's good, too, I hate that German killing bastard.

Batman sneaks up on John McClane, but right when his strike is about to connect with McClane, a random explosion knocks McClane out of the way, while simultaneously stunning batman long enough for McClane to get a car and clip a ramp so it flies through the air and lands on Batman. Game over man, game over.

Batman is constantly in situations with guys who cant shoot for shit.

Nu uh, Batman is just to quick. He makes everyone with a gun seem like a poor shot, regardless of their accuracy. 🙄

Like when he was driving in a straight line towards the Joker while on the Batpod and the Joker fired his Thompson, yet somehow missed with every single bullet, like that kind of Bat-dodgery?

Yup. It's the same logic that had a dude come back alive because Bruce thought he was dead but he wasn't. 😐

yeah, just like that. He should have used the gun Nicholson used to drop the batwing 😂

Whats to stop him...? The lead travelling through his brain, splattering it all over the inside of his Bathelmet.

When it counts his aim and luck is there, perpetually, like scabs on a crackwhore's lips.

Be it taking out someone holding a hostage then headshotting his buddy who is covering him, or shooting a Cable. 😆
A CABLE, for the love of Pesci...! From across the f**king streeeeet...!!!!!!

His luck would almost guarantee that he would not f*** up in killing Batman. Its not McClane's way to be killed by not being lucky.

Indeed it was, sir.

Their single shooting, non mp-5 guns wielded by total muppets...? yes.

Batman didnt look to quick getting nailed in the alley by the guy who subsequently removed the batmask.
A bullet stunned him to the floor.... and if the guy had shot Batman in the face there and then, we wouldnt have had Batman Returns.

Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight. Simple that it was movie PIS ONLY, just like The Joker missing Batman. 😐

There are a ton of situations that McClane also missed with his shots.

And the ones that counted were enough. 🙂

As they would be here.

Exactly. Which is why Batman dodges all gunfire, automatic and pistol. 😉

Right, because it was not blatantly obvious Joker was only provoking Batman and testing him to see if he would kill him and had no plans of killing him as Joker blatantly stated in the movie, right?

Oh wait...

McClane won't be able to get a bead on Batman and shoot him before he is out of sight.
