I seem to remember McClane on the Nakatomi rooftop evading automatic gunfire from 3-4 terrorists. All well trained marksmen, all shooting at the same time, all failing to hit him. Funny thing is they all knew right where he was. He escaped how? Lets see, not with state of the art armor, not with a cape that enabled him to fly, but with a fire hose.

No matter how we see it, one combatant has to be drastically gimped, that sucks.
If Batman is allowed to roam the building unnoticed, McClane is done for.
If McClane sees Batman right away, and since he has his gun already trained and ready to fire on McClane like most are saying, Batman has no chance.

I understand that McClane is awesome. However, there's a dozen or so McClane type characters. So, I don't see why so many people, many of them smart, swing from those big ol' McNuts all the time.

How can he fire that gun when he doesn't even have it anymore? It'd be kind of hard to fire it, also, if he's already knocked out on the floor and Commissioner Gordon is already on his way to pick up McClane's body as a criminal.

Like I said, we are assuming that McClane will raise his gun and shoot first while Batman does nothing. That is, again, silly. Batman could just as well be the one to "shoot" first.
