No to revise that, Bill talks while he hits SS,then talks on the follow through of the second hit as well. the page then switches to SS and his board flying off. BRB then makes another statement but only his eyes are shown. In that particular panel (where we only see bills eyes) where the hell did u see Bills other body parts and then conclude that he was standing in one place?

Actually there is no point in that. We cannot assume that he is doing the same thing he was doing in the panel before. Especially when his opponent is no longer in the same position as he was in in the previous panel. Attempting to use that as definitive proof is retarded. Ur sentry galactus example is extremely daft and has no relation to this discussion whatsoever. Ur not even trying anymore. Im not referring to some off panel incident so get that ridiculous strawman out of here, im referring to what he was doing at a particular moment shown ON PANEL. U havent been able to prove that he was standing still and instead have been going around the point, giving retarded analogies and tried to shift the burden of proof. Ur argument has depreciated so much that now u are left with nothing but petty trolling accusations.Pathetic.

Also, the "board to the back" strategy is a valid tactic for a forum fight. If Surfer's hit hard enough to actually do damage it will most likely knock him off his board. Once Surfer and his board are separated the opponent will have two choices, he can either go after Surfer himself or he can stand around trying to keep track of were Surfer's board is flying. If he chooses option one and focuses on Surfer he catches a surfboard to the back of the head, if he chooses option two and focuses on the board he'll just catch an energy blast to the back from Surfer.

Also, it is irrelevant to point out whether or not BRB stood still or not during that portion of the fight. Fact is, speech in comic combat is used more to progress the story or to add drama to the fight. It is RARELY (if ever) used as an indicator of time. Otherwise, flash fights would be completely textless as they move much faster than sound. That is why sometimes you have people spouting 3-paragraph monologues in mid-jump. Using it as a basis of argument to point out that BRB's hesitated is really a weak point.

The fact remains that:
1) BRB's blows barely affected the Surfer, other than tossing him off his board.
2) BRB was unable to defend against the board.
3) Each of the Surfer's attacks caused BRB to bleed.
4) Fight ended with a clear winner where SS stood over the beaten and bloodied body of BRB (who was in a fetal position). There can be no clearer indication of victory than this. This was an ownage, plain and simple. It saddens me when people try to find reasons to either downplay what happened or make it look cheap or inconclusive.

What I said is that speech has usually little to no bearing on what a character does in a fight unless it is either:
1) Indicated through text, narrative boxes or said by the character thru speech that they are hesitating/hesitated either in, after or prior panels .
2) Indicated through art on panel.

Since neither happened, simply assuming that BRB decided to hover and talk simply because there was a 1 panel portion where speech occurred (as speech/talking is hardly an indicator of time passed) is a fallacy as other possibilites could have occured on that same panel.
