One of my favourite McClane moments is the elevator scene in Die Hard 3, the dialogue he sets up the German goons with was fantastic, before wasting them.

McClane: ' Hey what was the lottery number last night?.. uh, you guys play the lottery?...No? My wife buys me two tickets every week...Last ten years plays the same numbers all the time I said 'Honey, why don't you play a different number? she goes 'Well, those are my lucky numbers', I got the tickets right here...'

I couldn't find the quote anywhere so I had to watch the scene again. The terrorists were probably thinking 'Yeah, we got this covered' but ended up dead. McClane headbutting the guy behind him was brutal...

Yep. you'd have to murder 6 guys in a phone booth using only your bare ballbag to top the impressiveness of that Lift scene. Especially unedited. Brutal stuff indeed.
