I seriously hope so. Even portraying them as equals would be bullcrap.

It depends. Its implied that Clor will attack the day Siege ends so I doubt Thor will be in great shape.

^ well yeah some plot device is the only way to make this fight interesting

😆 True Thor even surrendered and gave a speech admitting defeat 😈

The New Thunderbolt team:

Spoiler:
Luke Cage, Crossbones, Juggernaut, Man-Thing, Ghost and Moonstone

Interesting team.

I don't think Osborn is entirely insane.

Cletus Kasady is insane. Osborn is troubled.

I guess we just have different definitions of insane. I think locking yourself in a room while speaking to a green mask qualifies as completely insane. Kletus from what I remember reading about him when I was much younger was a complete psychopath.

Anyone else hoping Thor and Sentry face off?
I don't think a person reading siege doesn't want to see them fight.

Personally, I want neither to lose. I want the sentry to Sentry/Void out and for him to be above just Thor but for Thor not to give in and fight on despite the odds. There have been too many statements about the Sentry's power level and what he's capable of to just have Thor put him down while in the void mindset anyways.

I'm interested to see how marvel handles this.

The New Thunderbolt team

I was never a reader of this comic, so I checked that out earlier and I was surprised.

Spoiler:
Juggernaut has always drifted into possible reformation, but how is Crossbones getting a chance at redemption? The man played a part in the (Attempted) murder of Steve Rogers. What has happened to people in Marvel? It seems like everyone's caught the forgiveness plague
.

I am disappointed since I love the current team and if/when this new team comes around those great characters like mister x and Nuke will disapeare back into obscurity I fear.

Yeah how that worked out is beyond me... Marvel Earth seems to have caught the stupidity plague...

Spoiler:
The interview did say that some of the individuals are those who will never be leaving prison and that they volunteer to sign up for the Thunderbolts just so that they get some time to just get out of the Raft. I'd beat we see Crossbones joining the team because he'd probably be less dangerous with Luke Cage watching him all the time. We might see him on the team and then immediately working to bring it down
.

In Clone Thor's defense that was totally . How could he be expected to survive that?

ok, i'm calling it. thor and sentry will fight and sentry will have the advantage because of the beating thor took from norman and crew. thor will of course put up a good fight. then, when sentry is about to kill thor, phobos shows up and avenges his father by using his fear powers on sentry.

Interesting ... I think something like this may happen. I don't think the Void will be killed though - He'll be banished in way so he "cannot return" ... although, he blatantly will.

I wonder what Kind of plot device they'll use to defeat him, as conventional force just doesn't work - And unfortunately this is all Thor has in his Arsenal, especially when he doesn't have access to the Odin Force. A Global mind wipe is a possibility, although this hasn't worked on two occasions previously.

^ The Odin Force is sealed within the hammer itself at the moment, and in theory, I don't think it would be too much a stretch for Thor to somehow tap into it. How he would is the question, however. I also wouldn't be surprised if Loki somehow plays a large role in saving the day.

If loki see that there is a god chance that Osorn and others might loss. Loki would switch sides in a second and help out why because this is wha tLoki does anything to save his own butt and live to scheme again.

It would be the ultimate trick.

Let's say Siege ends with Osborn's true colors shown to the world, the villains defeated/imprisoned, Asgard lives to see another sunrise, and the heroes are all mostly a-okay. By appearing to be one of the main reasons why Asgard survived the invasion, Loki further cements himself as a guy with his people's best interest at heart. Sure, Thor would see through his crap, but the better Loki looks to Asgard, the easier it is to worm his way in as the rightful ruler.

And if Osborn is played for as a fool and the real mastermind behind it all, Loki pretty much wins all the way around.
