Superman vs Thanos

OWAW Superman did not beat Darkseid down. In fact, the opposite happened.

Guess I was mistaken then. I may've been thinking about a different time. Perhaps "Apocalypse Now" was the one I was thinking of..

Neither "beat down" the other.

Darkseid punched Superman twice before the sun-amp.

Regular pre-Flaspoint Superman would lose a majority. OWAW or FC would most likely win 9-10/10. Sundipped Superman from OWAW would stomp. DCNU Superman wins a good majority.

Oh, there are most definitely some versions of Superman than can even beat Odin. Not just stalemate him like Thanos did. Won't list them here though because that's not the subject of thread.

Odin and Superman have totally different powersets and abilities. None which logically pour over to be used as valid ABC logic.
The problem here is speed, something Odin doesn't have.

The moment the bell rings Thanos will be moving very slowly, at a snails pace. There is no way Thanos can win in a situation like that.

Superman fighting for the win truly does stomp Thanos into the ground.

Thanos would be like a frozen statue to Superman of which Superman would then batter Thanos to death before Thanos realizes he is even under attack.

Obviously time moves differently to the two of you, thus one is far faster than the other at perceiving time.

This is a thread were Carver does not know what to do, because he has a vendetta against Thanos for beating the shit outa Hulk every time they have fought. And his hypothetical hate of Superman because even though they have fought and Superman whooped Hulks ass, it was a cross over and does not count per forum rules.
