That will mean that the circumstances caused the enchantment to be null for a brief time.

Translation superman is not worthy to lift mjolnir, but he hits harder.

The crossover showed Superman getting the power...or did you miss his comment when he caught Mjolnir....Superman was allowed to overcome the need to be worthy. Once that time passed and the worthy enchantment was working properly again, Superman was unable to lift Mjolnir.

Anyway, I thought we were asked to drop this. you can always PM me or start a new thread if you want to continue.

Ok... Continue... Which in the end was a source of power for the Source... No pun intended.
No, it wasn't. It was new gods' power. Source/ALE wasn't weakened at all.
Let me clue u in... Words from the Source and DS...
"How is it you utilize the spirit might which I cannot now access? It is power I created."
"I realize you and my purloined might are inextricably linked. Your destruction would mean the loss of the power I have gained."
There's more, but by now you should get the picture.

That means diddly squat. Source wasn't using that power and in that same page darkseid says "Even supposedly Omnipotent source must submit to me" and in next page "Omnipotence is now the sole property of mighty darkseid". Anyway Darkseid was as Omnipotent as one could get usurping the creator of DCU according to that story. Heck here he taunts Source/ALE to use all his power to free himself and Source couldn't free himself. ALE entity alone shits on galactus or celestials in power.

Maybe so. Then again it seemd as if the Source had everything worked out and calculated before the end was reached.
No, he took a precaution when he sensed something troublesome. He certainly didn't know anything about Darkseid's plans by his own admission.

Here its plainly said Orion's soul was sharing Soulfire formula with darkseid

Like I said. It's impressive, but not the be all end all you think it is.
Its MUCH MORE impressive than ANYTHING thor has done in striking power.
I prefer some of Supe's other ones...
Because you are a marvel dick rider and apologist.
And don't get so mad. u might pop a blood vessel....
Mad? I'm laughing at your desperation here.

@ Silent Master

I agree, there is no point to that conversation. we just leave it there. Thanks though.

I don't know. I found this scan by accident.

Bump.

Thor.

In a straight up punch vs Thor's hammer slam that causes quakes, DC goes to Thor.

However, with some relativistic and then FTL velocity, Superman can break diamond moons like a brittle china dish...

Mjolnir slam wins.

Thor.

Do you really believe Thor could take on Superman, though?

Thor's powerset is set, Superman's can change in fight.

Thor could take on Superman, yes. What he lacks in speed, he makes up for in energy projection and in being more versatile.

I was just asking PR who he thinks is more powerful altogether.

Either he's fickle, or he's just a Thor guy.

Anyway Thor's hardest Mjlnor slam<Superman IMP.

Thor is neither as fast nor as physically strong as Superman.

And yet Superman actually go intangible.

I laugh at this post especially the part about PR being a Thor guy..

He just admitted his belief in Thor's superiority, did he not?

Yet, he thinks Superman would pwn the Hulk. Which is strange two beliefs. The Hulk has won more fights against Thor than not IIRC.

And the Hulk only has strength, endurance and durability, super. So much for versatility, Pr.

It's about character depiction, powerset level, not powerset versatility.

Thor can effect intangible beings...

And yes, Thor can certainly take on Superman. Thor's fights against the Hulk are 9/10 times mostly melee due to Thor's personality and the history of the two wanting to slug it out. Against other foes, Thor's far more inclined to use weather manipulation and energy projection among other things.

No, he didn't...he just said that Thor could take on Superman.

That is a far cry from saying that Thor is superior or would pwn Superman.
