Next time I see you lowball, though, I'll be sure to quote this to you.

I don't lowball though.

And IMO Thor has more powers, it just happens that Superman has a lot of application for his, but Thor is more versatile.

Now back to my thesis 😄

Every power he's developed is the result of an activated metagene, a mutation caused by yellow sunlight. The reason he stopped making new super powers is perhaps because of A: psionic mental blocks, and B: his exposure to yellow sunlight. If he were to become extremely aware of his solar-genesis, he could manipulate it - gaining new powers without even going sun-dip - that's not an option because it will force him to become an energy being as the yellow sunlight causes supercharged mitoses and then apoptosis, and cell death. It's not impossible that he could develop some conscious influence over his genetic structure, given Kryptonians have done other telepathic things, like H'el manipulating Superboy's DnA and atoms. It's not impossible either that he's developed or could develop radio-solar awareness like in All-star Superman, making him a non-corporeal matter and energy manipulator - also able to manipulate his DnA.

hysterical😆😂🤣

What is this all part of the reboot?

Does he have any new powers now?

charging the hammer wouldn't make him STRIKE HARDER. Superman can fly accelerate far quicker in flight than Thor with Mjlonir.

I wasn't referring to Superman flying from afar to generate momentum but rather start up close and personal and just fly into his punch. A more natural and practical thing.

You don't think a charged hammer shot would do more damage than normal hammer strike?

Depends on who's it hitting. I don't see the charge doing much (if anything) to a being that absorbs energy naturally or resistant to energy (especially lightning).

Since you're adding stips, what if the person being hit absorbs kinetic energy, wouldn't that make Thor's charged strikes millions of times more damaging than Superman punches, seeing as the strikes would contain more than just kinetic energy?

Nope.

Just another ignorant fanboy spouting nonsense by mixing up things here and there from canon and non-canon sources, and adding a bit of his own fanfic to it.

"a bit"? Lol.

Those are pretty strong words though.

Yeah I've realized now by reading the other posts facepalm

My gut says Thor's hardest slam. I have a hard time seeing Superman match the striking power of Mjolnir charged up and spun around.

Man, Miller basically trashed everyone in the DCU, including Batman, ironically. He made Superman an idiot, made Hal borderline retarded, warped Diana into a feminazi, and every other page was reminding us that Dick Grayson was age 12.

My favorite scene - outside of the "I'm the goddamned Batman" - was probably when Superman was running across the water and Batman was like "I know he can fly, but he doesn't even know" or some other illogical wanking Miller had going on.

miller is burnt out of his mind. man should just retire and let us keep some fond memories of his past

I don't blame him actually. He's used to mostly posting random sh1t on the OFT, and most of his posts on the GDF don't make any sense either. He's averse to reading forum rules from the looks of it.

If Thor can charge his hammer with energy, he hits harder.
