Did they up Rulk to a herald? Oh god, I have to vomit. If I cant ill just punch myself in the liver till I do.

Rulk had some low showings but his recent showings have been pretty good. Rulk bad showings doesn't drop him from Herald tier just like Thor showings doesn't. Rulk was one of the leading premier during the Phoenix saga.

Like I said it just seems like such a huge drop off in Juggs durability for Thor to all of sudden be busting Juggs like that simply cause they took his shield.

Especially since he has traded blows with different versions of Hulk without incident, Nightmare as well. all shield less or no mention of the shield.

He did better in that he took a 60 second beat down and was still getting up, when a supposedly full powered Juggernaut was about to fall. 😛

Juggs was dazed and hurt, but the only reason he was getting pummeled is because Thor knows how to fight and Juggs doesn't. Other than that though, he took the hits pretty well. He's just not in Thor's league when it comes to fighting skill.

Those are just varying showings. Not really an indicator of a weakness though. Especially since it was only explicitly mentioned that the shields were dropped.

I like talking about which beating of juggernaut was the better one. Let's continue.

What are you talking about? There was a fight where Thor beat the crud out of him by removing his force field. Before the force field removal he just couldn't hurt Juggs at all.

Don't make me lump you into the people who don't know Juggs. What I said was pretty clear... Juggs HAS JUST AS MANY GOOD SHOWINGS WITHOUT THE FORCEFIELD AS WITH. What I also conceded was that he does have a tad more low showings without. That is true. However, I see people saying he has better showings with.. and that simply isn't true. Next time my star wars buddy read what I said. Ohh and Kenobi is still > than Zone anakin 😛

honestly, juggs is my least fave forum guy to debate. his durability has been pretty consistently uber, but that shield and its inconsistent depiction is such a nuisance. i think the thor beat down was certainly...out of the norm, but so was the shield, sort of.

Jugs without his forcefield did withstand an attack from all the Exemplers combined and it was stated that each of them rivaled Thor in power. He also withstood an attack from Stranger.

I recall three Exemplars raping the crap out of Juggernaut. And I recall Juggernaut being bereft of his Cytorrak powers and having to use tech in X-Men Forever.

Am I wrong?

He'll have to Google the definition of bereft before he can answer your question, so it might take a while.

😂 Whatever Galan. I have to check ODG.

Scans? Juggernaut managed to beat like two or three of the Exemplars but it was one on one at different points. As a matter of fact, the Exemplar weapon master was able to hurt him with pressure points and physical attacks. IIRC the big one was able to stalemate him in a fist fight or close to it.

At one point I think about two or three of them raped him IIRC and he ran to the Avengers for help.

I'd have to re-read the issues to be more specific.

Not Cain with the Juggernaut's power IIRC. Besides, Stranger was weaksauce.

Does anyone have the rest of this fight? IIRC, this is the fight where he beats them.

He ultimately beat each Exemplar one-on-one, but barely managed to defeat Stonecutter.

Also before that, Iron Man took out the Exemplar, Inferno.

Thor took out Tempest.

Bedlam was just about taken out by Xavier and an amped Iron Man. She stunned Juggernaut briefly then wandered off once he engaged Stonecutter. In the aftermath, the Exemplars captured Juggernaut until he was saved by the Avengers.

👆

I didn't post that stuff because carv seemed to be looking solely for scans of Juggs fighting the Exemplars, but yeah, the Exemplars as a whole were pretty weaksauce. The only one worth a damn was Stonecutter.

Exemplars were a damn joke.

I don't see how any of them would have any hope of taking on Juggernaut without Bedlam.

Good showing for Juggernaut but he accomplished nothing durability wise their that was notable or even close to his force field based invulnerability. As a matter of fact, I just noticed that Decay's power was basically confirmed to be able to take out Juggernaut despite it being proven ineffective to Thor due to his immortality. Weird but whatever.

I'm fine with the Exemplar's being able to hurt Juggernaut physically (Stonecutter rocked him, Conquest hurt him) but Bedlam's power hurting Juggernaut through his helmet then him and Stonecutter being immune is stupid.

And for some reason the writer is focusing on the non-tp aspect of his armour....

just weird...

Guys, to be fair to the Exemplars, they could be pretty tough. Al of them together were able to defeat Thor and mortal Hercules.

Only scans I got:

They also beat the utter shit out of Juggernaut and left him unconscious on the Avengers doorstep IIRC. Personally though, I think Bedlam and Stonecutter were the only ones really worth a damn ultimately.

He fought the Exemplers twice IIRC?
