Spartacus: Blood and Sand

Well, I watched the second one. It seems they are going for the sex, and violence for all their shows. I don't mind, but it gets retarded when you want to watch with girls your age. It seems it's only made to attract guys.

Any ways, I give it a 7/10 so far

I was very disappointed with the first two episodes. So much so, i doubt i'll continue watching the series. I was expecting some depth and engaging dialogue with brutal violence and depravity. Unfortunately, the only things the show has delivered so far is depravity, childish dialogue and laughable blue screens effects along with shoddy set pieces. I was expecting something on par with, Rome not Xena.

i love the blood ad guts this show offers.. tonight's show was no exception

I just watched the last one while I was working and I must say, the show has improved. It really is good. They are starting to focus on other characters, and the fight scenes are pretty good. Especially, the last fight in episode3. It has me on my feet hoping he wins.

If you don't have Starz, Netflix is the way to go, you can watch the newest episode the day after in their 'instant watch' option, under the TV shows menu.

Show's alright, not nearly as good as Rome was and the overabundance of CGI blood is highly annoying.

There are many possible reasons*, unless they specifically told you "we don't like seeing nude women", which would be a lie if they did, as women love seeing other women nude. This is a fact, son.

*Possible reasons:

-They didn't like the show
-They didn't like your company
-Your house smelled of fart
-You're cheap and didn't provide decent refreshments
-All of the above

Indeed it was. I was glad it ended, as it would have likely turned to shit had it continued and I'd rather have a good show end while it's still good, than continue pasted it's shelf-life.

This show is pretty much shit, but it is some what entertaining. It is like a couple of 15 year olds watched thing like Rome/Gladiator/300 and any movie on Cinemax late at night and thought, what if we make a hybrid rip off of these with lots of slow motion, blood, over the top everything and tons of sex and ****!

I like this show. The need to make the blood and some wounds more realistic, but it's still nice.
