War and Link vs Kratos, Bayonetta and Dante

In all the Zelda games I have played Link has been knocked out by very easy means which completely contradicts the 'math' that screampaste uses.

Such as falling off a horse and falling off a train. There are more examples, but those are the most prominent. Even normal humans have survived more.

two examples? wtf are you talking about? I gave the iron boots example that Screampaste wails on about "zomg gorons are 200 tonnes and iron boots have to be stronger than ironz for it too works!" and theres the rainbow feat, I hope your not trying to say that makes sense or is logical. Then theres this one, where Link without any extra power other than in his arms is surviving tonnes of force on his body. You even said yourself that he grunted because the thing is heavy yet you think its logical for him to be able to apprently throw it the way scream claims he can? meh....

LoZ does not outline that Link has any super strength or durability, so many people who have actually played the games are disagreeing wtih you so theres no point in whining because we do not agree with 1000 ton supersonic link. Your logic, physics, math and your own game do not support what your trying to sell us, were not buying it.

Link uses iron clad boots to trip Gorons, Link uses magic gauntlets to strengthen his arms and toonforceftw allows him to ignore physics on his body (which are not enhanced). And if he gets stuck in a dissolving magical moon face a cute little rainbow appears and saves his life.... [/B]

Stop being a dumbass. I know it'll be challenging for you, but you can do it. I BELIEVE IN YOU!

You said Iron tripped a Goron. You should say what you mean and not act like everyone else is an idiot later. And they don't really have to be a whole lot heavier. I don't know where you got that Link rode out on a rainbow, because that didn't happen. You should watch the video again. Nor did I say he grunted because it was heavy, get your facts straight, dumbass. And yeah, it is logical. I like how you pick and choose which descriptions of things don't exaggerate and which ones do.

Pokedex data? Obviously hyperbole. Item description in Zelda? True to the very last syllable.

Clearly it DOES outline it. But if you had played the game you'd know that. The customer is not always right, dumbass.

There you go with that tripping idiocy again. Play the games, Dumbass. Wow, and the rainbow thing again too. You seriously are a dumbass.

Edit: Kill3r, you stop being a dumbass too. You know not all Links are the same.

No you thought I was being literal with the bugs bunny stuff right? I had already spoken on and on about my link gripes and as youve said, ive not even played the game, this is just in the few vids I have watched. I dont see why you want me to play a Zelda game because I could probably pull up hundreds of events that do not make sense if I did. Yeh you did.

wut? you dont seem to understand the difference between hyperbole and truth....those two examples have no real correlation.

Does not, sorry but theres nothing that claims Link as durable, theres no reason to belive so without making hundreds of exceptions for him because of the feats he has apprently displayed.

Now stop frothing at the mouth with rage, get a cloth and wipe it away and pour cold water over that red face. Watch some femi-link vids in your most comfortable chair and spend some time with yourself.

Is that Ivan Drago in his Halloween costume?

No dumbass, I did not. And I'm pretty sure you're confusing me with 5L. Mind quoting where I said that then?

I understand it perfectly. Fact is you just pick and choose which in-game statements are hyperbole and which aren't to fit your "arguments."

Who said anything about durability? We have an obviously insane strength feat which adds to it. He's been hit by Ganondorf, shot out of cannon miles up into the sky straight into the ground, and struck by Gorons. And please, outline these "exceptions" for me.

The only part of that that scares me is you knew my chair was comfortable. I'm assuming the rest of that was just to try and hide the fact that you knew about my chair. Face me like a man, you British pansy.

I see you are ignoring all the times that Link has been KO'ed with the smallest of bumps to his head.

When? Oh, you mean that time when he was around eight years old? Or that OTHER time when he was around eight years old? Or that other time when it wasn't even the ****ing Link we're talking about right now?

Shut the **** up, dumbass.

Or that time he didn't have the triforce at all?

..And then pulls off a bunch of superhuman crap anyway? haermm

Old argument is old, Kill3r.

Eh, no, hyperbole is pretty much exageration. The link saying Links arms are being powered is hardly exageration or anything thats close, its just a direct statement.

You see, assumptions again, you have to "add" to links power even when its never stated based on that feat, assuming I am correct (I am based on logic, not fanboy hope and fanfiction) your theory is wrong anyway. Ganondorf is nothing special at all. The cannon is another toonforce feat, I think even Sin said that as well. The exceptions your making is that Link who has no stated reason for durability unlike the many other characters in Video game vs is suddenly being given powers just because of apprent "feats", your trying to use that as a reason for him being inately durable, your adding to powers he does not have while ignoring the fact it can be toonforce or makes no sense. Your trying to add tonnes of "has to" to all your arguments when it does not have to work for your arguments I am afraid......

Congratulations on telling me what I already know, dumbass. If anything, I'd say the Zelda description is more Hyperbole, but neither that or the Pokedex are hyperbole. The language and the way it's worded are far too specific. Things in the Pokedex are "Charizard's fire can reach heats of 10,000 degress Fahrenheit." But Hyperbole would be something like "Charizard's fire is hotter than hell."

Nobody added anything. But that strength feat does speak for durability. We have plenty of other durability feats that speak for themselves. Now you've retreated back to denying evidence and shouting toonforce. Good job.

Then maybe you should stop asking pointless questions and tossing out red herrings. Saying "power in arms" is hyperbole shows you dont have a clue what it means.

Erm yes they do, Link is never stated to be naturally superhuman in any way, shape or form. Therefore any super feat he does where it would be impossible for an entity such as he to survive it is toonforce, alongside bouncing gorons, magical happy rainbows in majoras and iron boots apprently tripping 200 ton gorons. Your taking a series seriously thats not supposed to be. Theres evidence for toonforce, hence why you are the one denying evidence. Show me the statement/canon description that Link is naturally superhuman?

I like how you whine about how theres different Links who have been knocked out or defeated in silly or pathetic ways yet apparently the ones with unlrealistic feats against physics and the games logic just happen to be the correct portrayle of Link. If anything I think the ones where the skinny little guy without natural superhuman ability is getting knocked otu with ease is the more likely. Not your "excemptions" and "additions".

Nice.

Consider yourself slapped with a warning. We don't tolerate that kind of attitude around here. Don't let it happen again.

Hey, dumbass, check your definition. You're the one who doesn't know what it means.

http://www.dictionary.com

Have fun.

You claim to have seen videos of this, but I don't think you have. Any normal human could interpret what they see in those videos through the use of their eyes, but their eyes would never see this "magic happy rainbow" that you seem to be overly fond of saving Link. It extends out past where Link is shown to be, far into the forest. Perhaps if you had played the game you might understand the geography of the game a little bit better. Link is shown to be superhuman, and I believe yesterday you were accepting it as a legitimate feat but claiming it was mathed wrong. So which is it? Is it toonforce or a real feat mathed wrong? Pick one "argument" and defend it, dumbass, it can't be both.

I like how yo-- actually, I don't like anything about you. But thanks for liking something about me. 👆

You really don't read posts at all, do you?

Did you not read mine?

I was typing that when you made yours and didn't see it until afterward.

Why does it matter anymore anyway. Everything that Link has done, Dante has done better. Link tosses pillars. Dante stops the Saviour's hand(maybe hollow, but so much bigger). Link shot an arrow two miles away. Dante is fast enough, and a good enough shot, to stack bullets on top of one-another as he is flying backwards.(looked like maybe 7 or 8 bullets) Link has blah, blah, blah equipment. Dante has Quicksilver and Yamato, a sword that he can make a crescent of his strike travel out some 500 feet almost instantly, though no cutting power is lost. Dante also has his numerous other guns swords, and powers. Link is ridiculously dead just from him. Link isn't the Black Knight. When Dante removes Link's limbs he won't be able to say that it is just a "Flesh Wound".

The problem with your post, Mr Sonata, is that while decent normal people with a shred of common sense agree with you, rabid LoZ fanboys ignore all of the evidence and create their own fanfiction Link that can eat the Sun and punch the Universe to death. It's best to not attempt to debate them, you'll just lose your faith in humanity.

I made this thread just to lose my humanity, however, it is getting a bit ridiculous.

Hush, both of you, and read the thread.

Darkest, Dante will not be beating a composite Link any time soon. 😉

FC, being butthurt doesn't give you an excuse to spew nonsense. I'm not a sock, and I've never claimed the things you keep coming up with. Compared to your theories of a sun busting FTL Sephiroth, my arguemtns are so dry and reserved they could be taken straight from the diary of a victorian puritan.
