STAR WARS: RETROSPECTION- Chains

Alright, while I'm at it I'll hunt for info on Hanza and Nelgrin.

You don't find much that you don't already know. Hanza is probably on the bridge with Loj'oon. Nelgrin is not currently aboard the Seat.

Hmmm, I don't really want to check out the bridge now, if Hanza is hanging around there.

Ummm! I guess I should search for Vlad and Emso.

Yes, Vlad's mindset at the moment is important.

Sorry for the wait!

Vlad's extremely disgusted in finding out that a place such as the Seat of Srum exists. He holds back his emotions as only a Jedi would, but the injustice of this place reminds him how corrupt the Galaxy still is. Vlad will approach the slaves with Emso, analyzing the seller.

"Greetings." says Vlad as he approaches the slaver. He tries to put on the most casual, gruff appearance that he could muster up. "Aye, buddy, you mind giving me some information on these slaves?"

"What do you want to know?" asks the slaver.

-

Additionally, Vlad, I discussed this with Craft - an important reason for talking to Marl Ademiro was skipped over by Wentar's aggressive interrogating! He may have had information regarding your father's death.

Were you interested in doing a brief flashback to that, so Vlad could inquire about his father's death?

Woops, must've forgotten all about that... That would actually be great, if possible.

Alright- we'll carry on the current events as if Wentar has showed up to converse with the slaver with the Triskatani, whilst Vlad has an aside with Marl.

-

On Nar Shaddaa, while Wentar was squaring away the fate of the slaves and your prisoners, Vlad was left guarding Marl Ademiro, failed slaver. It is hard to see how this man was at one point your captor, Vlad. Then again, you were much younger then and unaware of your destiny.

"My how you've grown," Marl comments. You have him slapped in cuffs.

You know, thinking about it Wentar is disturbingly detached from the goings on in the Seat. Like he's blocking everything but his mission out of his mind right now.

-

Wentar steps out from behind Vlad as the slaver asks his question. "First off, I'm curious. Who provided these slaves?" he asks, trying to start a flowing conversation that he can take control of.

The slaver quips the old favorite 'I'd have to kill you if I told you.'

"Why am I not surprised?" Wentar says. "Still, what's so dangerous about be knowing who the provider was? I'm not about to go seek the guy out, I'd just like a little more information." Persuade skill away!

Four successes.

"A lot of people come around here asking nosey questions like that," the slaver says. "Those people end up like the provider. Some Senator, killed by a Jedi from what I hear! These came from Triskatan, smuggled out of the Republic. I just do the auction. You going to buy?"

Wentar visibly twitches at the reference to Farl, that mans actions will continue to haunt Wentar until he sees this quest to it's end.

"Jedi. Always meddling in everyones business," Wentar spits, covering up his reaction. "I maybe interested in buying, how many Triskatani you got?"

"I got ten here, at least a hundred more down in Cargo," he says.

Does Wentar know how many Trikistani were taken? From records found in Farl's computer?

More than that! Much more.

Geh! Well here goes.

"Know where I can find more?" Wentar asks.

The slaver laughs.

"What do you want so many Triskies for?"

"I hear Triskies make pretty good house workers, and I've got a pretty big house," Wentar lies. "And a fairly large boat they could be working on." Presense+lying+charisma! 3+1+5 = 9 roll! 😛

Three successes.

"You must be doing pretty well for yourself. What's your line of work, stranger?"
