"I'd rather not say," Wentar says. "In your line of work I'm sure you understand."

The slaver shrugs.

"Alright. You want to buy ALL my Triskies?"

"Yes, and you still haven't told me where I can find more," Wentar says.

"I can give you a few names," the slaver says. "Or I can set up something for you. Easier to give names, though."

"Indeed, I'll take those names."

He starts listing... and geez, Wentar, they're all over the Galaxy at this point. It will take you years to track them all down.

Wentar writes down all the names, starting to feel a little hopeless. I was an idiot to think they'd all be on this station.

"Thank you for that," Wentar says, after scanning the Slaver to make sure he's being honest. "I'll be sure to get in contact with some of these men."

No deception. He is excited that you appear to want to buy all of his slaves.

"Alright," Wentar says. "I suppose you want to discuss payment."

"Yes, that's right."

"Well, name your starting price."

"Well, Triskies are hard to come by, so..."

He does some figures and comes up with nearly a million credits for his batch. How overpriced!

"Come now, are you really going to play this trick with me?" Wentar asks. "Hell you just gave me a list of other places I can shop, now I'm here right now and willing to buy, but not for such an outrageous price. How about Two-hundred fifty thousand?"

"Can't say the same for you..." replies Vlad as he narrows his eyes on the slaver while sitting on top of one of the crates. "With all the help that we're giving you - lessening your punishment and what-not - you might as well answer a few personal questions of mine."

Vlad gets up, slowly walking over to Marl.

"Like any information you have on what happened to my father..."

"Your father?" Marl asks, dropping the rough demeanor. "Why would I know anything?"

-

"Buying at a quarter of my starting price? Not happening! Eighty thousand."

"Forty!" Wentar counters.

"Too low! Seventy-five thousand."

"Are you mad? Fifty-five thousand!"

"Sixty-five thousand. No less! Final offer."

"Alright," Wentar say. "I'll take that offer, however I'll need a little time to acquire the additional funds, I had been hoping to talk you down more. Perhaps while I acquire these funds you can prepare the slaves for transport onto my ship."
