"That planet's entire economy is based on storage. People bring stuff there to be kept- safely. From anyone. Their reputation is based on discretion and the guarantee that no-one else will ever know what you stored."

Would one or two of those triggers be a Woman using the force?

"Sounds great. Lots of places to break int...er, I mean explore." I give our pilot a wink. Clearly he knows something's up with us, so there's no sense denying it, but there's no harm as long as we don't name drop our prey. "I don't suppose there's any way to differentiate the storage facilities by their contents or owners?"

"By the way, got anything to drink on this ship? I'll pay. Not well," I smile, "but I'll pay."

I would try to keep up. We don't actually relay information like that In Character, we just sort of go "And we catch everyone up to whats going on, and move on."

Oh. lawl. Well then, that changes things. I'll do some reading, thanks

Roan- err, no, not at all.

However, time is up for the Thalos Jedi- you guys need to up your game on non-violent solutions! If you just want to fight, go join the Dark Side...

Jelena, do you have any Force powers to help that roll?

-

"Only in storage," says Tobin, "as obviously I don't drink whilst in charge of my ship. You won't get me that easily, Jedi...

"And you'd have to be nuts to try and break into that place. First of all because the Telanians' entire culture is based around keeping that place secure; the security is unbelievable. Secondly because they have 'protection' if you get my drift. People stealing from there would make enemies."

"Heh. Point taken. But don't worry, I was only joking. We're not on our way to steal things." I grumble at the lack of alcohol. I make a mental note to pick up something inconspicuous when I can. Jedi robes are likely a good place to hide a flask.

"But Jedi have valuables too, and even we can't always protect our wares. Say we wanted to talk to someone about safekeeping our most precious commodities, who is the person we'd want to talk to?" If he thinks we're just customers coming to the planet to negotiate, we might be able to glean some information on powerful brokers from him.

"Since when did Jedi have valuables?" asks Tobin, with sudden perceptiveness. "Doesn't value imply attachment?"

Jelena has Leadership, but that's probably not the right thing here.

Is Thea going to threat the Zaari any different that we know of? If we can convince them she's going to win the fight AND improve their position, they could be persuaded...

You guys are a bit beaten up to carry it by threat, else I might have allowed an Intimidate roll.

'My friend isn't a strict Jedi in the sense of the Code,' explains Iffa, ' and as far as the storage goes, there must be someone who oversees what is kept where?'

"Yeah, the Collective," says Tobin, "but they don't let that out to anyone."

'They might if they were under threat.'

"Good luck with that then!" he says. "I don't think they'll see any threat bigger than the problems they have if they let any information about contents out."

Ok, as it is- the lead Zaari is going to ask you-

"What do you intend to do?"

Think VERY carefully about a good answer.

crap, I wrote the word wrong. I did not mean "threat" but treat (I think?)... like how you act to someone? Like "treat nicely" and such?

Trying to win over the Zaari politically would actually have been an interesting move- but would require more preparation I am afraid.

Hear that folks? I made an interesting idea... 😎 ... aaaaages to late, but heck, I'm getting there. 😄

Ermh... what could be left to convince them?
Poltical... aggressive negotiations, ... Social is linked very strongly to political ...

Cultural? Have no idea what can be used there.
What's left?

Okay, so what we are actually doing is protecting Lady Thea from the Zaari while she fights Consul Aquila. So, rephrasing...

"We intend to support Lady Thea as she confronts the Consul with her grievances before the Assembly," Jelena says, "and to seek a conclusion to our time as fugitives on your world."

I don't want to say this yet, I'm pitching this to the other Jedi players to see what they think.

"Even so, who might we contact if we wanted to talk to the Collective about a potential breach? We don't seek their secrets, just their attention."

"I'm sure they'll send someone to talk to you," he says. "But he'll take his orders from their financial backers."
