USH'S STAR WARS GAME- CAMPAIGN II EPISODE V (LIGHT SIDE)- Harmony

(Have the Padawans dig a big pit and fill it with spike. The rest of us can herd the monsters into the pit. Running after them waving the machette's over our heads, screaming like madmen ought to do it, right?

Seriously, though, good call Jovan. We can all work together to take the beasts. Next we need to know what they're like so we can have an idea how to take them down. Also might want to know details about what else hunts them.)

That part, it seems, is all for you to find out.

The athletes, me and Xeth, can lead them into a trap with no worries.

The idea of them all working together to get the required kills eases Gallagher some, but nonetheless, he is worried that these monsters will be very difficult to hunt indeed.

Gallagher picks up a machete with a blue handle and gives it an experimental twirl.

"D'an, do you think you can wield one?" Gallagher asks.

I'm afraid that we might be with too many to actually get beasts near us... I do think splitting up might be the right choice, just not in pairs of 2... more like the entire gang splits up in 2.
With Padawans... we're with what? 10? More? It might be too big to be efficient.

"D'an, do you think you can wield one?" Gallagher asks.

"It's not that difficult... you see, with a lightsabre you put the shiny part in your enemy, with a machete you do the same but with the sharp part.
Just be sure you know which part is sharp and you should be fine."

We'll just have to find out by doing! Xeth is going to take a machete, of course.

Sunda counts as a Knight, btw. As do any players not posting.

Of course, a machete is angled more for cutting foliage than armoured beasts.

Cool
Alright, so here is my thoughts on the issue.
We know relatively nothing about these beasts. So first order of business is to find some and figure out how to hunt them. They we hunt them. Sticking together is a good idea, as is traps. We don't know if these things are solitary or herd animals. If they are Herd animals its good for us because we will easily be able to get the numbers, but traps might be harder to maintain. Individuals might be harder to find but easier to take down.

Now there are some force powers that deal with animals, Check and see if you have them. I think Empathy works, and does Scan? I know Staredown does, but I don't think anyone has it.

We should compile a list of everyone who is considered a Knight, so we know how many animals we need to hunt.

Any more thoughts?

Just a quick note since I apperently forgot to post it here:
I'm offline till friday due to moving into a new place with no internet installed.

How do the machetes handle as far as the weapons chart is concerned? They're likely to not be the greatest weapons ever.

Can the Atrii give us any details about where the beasts can be found so that we may begin hunting?

And what skills would be required for setting traps?

Wentar, Gallagher and Vera have Presence mastered for Quietening, to deal with enraged beasts and Wentar also has Staredown too.

I think we have 12 knights (Including Sunda) so we'd need to kill 6 beasts.

Yes, we have twelve Knights. Vera-Kin will reluctantly take a machete.

As already noted, you have to find out the details yourselves.

Setting traps is Survival.

Denzral also takes a machette.

Well I got quiet a strange premonition... Hopefully it'll become clearer as we progress through the story.

Is the planet completely covered in jungles? Are there no deserts or such?

Forests and mountains.

If people want to share their premonitions maybe we can all make some sense of them.
Then grab machetes and head out into the forest!

Right then! Time indeed to head into the forest. Do you have any particular plan with groups, or a method, or such things? Who is in front, back and middle, and so forth?

(Do we go out as one big group? Or break down some, splitting relevant skills, so as not to romp through the forest with this big party? If one group, I'd say fighters to the front and rear, Padawans (except Sunda, of course) in the middle. That's as long as we stay tight enough to cover the middle. Perhaps there should be a scout or two to stay out front?)
