USH'S STAR WARS GAME- CAMPAIGN II EPISODE V (DARK SIDE)- The Prisoner of Datura

Okay, plotting...

Con n Galder are the only ones in the front group with Great Leap. I say this turn, Con grab rope from Ranto and someone switch with Relle. We need to decide if we're tying it to anything on this side. Having two ropes set across will give more routes.

Is there enough rock that Rand and Azarl could Bombard multiple targets on the other side of the chasm and make it safer to cross?

I honestly don't trust Ranto to make it across... he may need to be lifted over. So Azarl and Rand should be among the first to cross the rope to get on that.

Anyone got thoughts? Ush, can we tell if the ropes are long enough to cross the chasm? Or would tying them together do it?

If it turns out that we need to start tying things up, it might be that we have all combat sorts move rearward to keep everything dead.

Okay, now that I'm not on my phone...

Jumping across should not happen this turn. It would be too dangerous for only a few people with that many trogs over there. We should hold off until we have the ropes secured on this side.

So, still need to know about multiple killing Bombard and rope length, Ush.

For now, Relle and Ranto need to be moved up with the ropes. If I can get volunteers to move back and kill trogs? Recommending Dak and Rianna for the job, of course.

Rand and Azarl should Grip trogs on the other side to start clearing their numbers in the mean time.

Galder is going to have CC IM DU in, shoot trogs on the opposite side of the chasm.

There are no special rules for Bombard here.

The ropes can be potentially used- it depends what you say to do with them!

Could they be tied to something heavy (say, a rock... or Chunn [just kidding]) and strung across the chasm and tied to another heavy something? I'm envisioning people shimmying across, commando-style, or tight-rope walking.

Yup! Certainly long enough for that.

Perfect! And there ARE heavy rocks to tie them to on either side?

Not in a convenient position.

I assume that you want a Lying roll to make that plausible?

Of course! (smiles innocently)

Something else you are pretty good at!

"That man was your brother?" he says. "You don't exactly look alike..."

Edna laughs "Clearly I got the looks as well as the brains!"

She shakes her head "We always shared the same resourcefulness; I guess his was just a little misdirected as ever!" Edna sits back and looks slightly sorrowful.

"Well, sure, I did hear it was a guy named Starkiller. Big name in some places, yeah? I wouldn't know him though. Anything distinctive about him?"

I'm sure Rand could move one into a more convenient place, yes?

Edna smiles. "Oh he's distinctive alright. Big guy. More than makes up in brawn what he's lacking in brains. Kinda looks like he was born to create carnage. Last I heard he was traveling with some kaminoan."

(sorry rex!)

(Nah, it's fitting! Robot arm might have been after your time...)

Slowly.

He doesn't know what a Kaminoan is, let alone what one looks like.

Can Galder see anything else we could fix it to? I'm really, really loath to standing around holding it.

Observation roll and an action to check!

That's fine.

Since Gallador is useless in fight, can help with tying the rope?
