Bowser vs Cloud

underestimated Mario? really? This is coming from the guy who didn't even know what a Mega-flare was...have u even played a FF game? Bahamut is in more than just VII, its in a lot more games than that, Mega-flare is a pretty universal term when it comes to Final Fantasy. Don't get me wrong i love Mario. I'm a Mario veteran, I've beaten all of the Mario games, and most of the ff series, except 13( on the second disk though 😄), but Mario and Bowser has never taken a sword to the face as far as i know. All Cloud would really need is his Omni-slash to take out Bowser. Once he used that he'd be having turtle soup for dinner. 😛

Watched that scene in ACC, its the same as 3:08 on the vid i posted.

So, that magic looking crap transferrign from her hand, that's her moral support?

Aeris has no way to help physically in that fight, she's dead. She was stabbed though the chest by Sephiroth in VII. She's dead, and it stays that way. Cloud is the only person that can see her in the movie because she isn't really there. The only time she helps him is at the end of the movie, where she cures him and everyone else from the geo-stigma. Even if she did protect him, it doesn't really help your argument that Bowser would beat Cloud. Whats going to protect Bowser from Mega, Giga, and Tera-Flare? His turtles and goombas?

Does Bowser get the star rod in this thread?

Well, Bowser is pretty strong and rather large. The battlefield is rather small. If summons take as long as I think they do, Cloud will be eating whatever Bowser decides to hit him with before he finishes.

What can Bowser really do to kill Cloud?

I wish this was Brawl, Bowser could Power Thrust him or Jazz Hand him to death.

But we'll probably have to settle for claw slicing.

:/ not the fastest chap. And whats to stop a huge sword from stabbing him?

This has been addresses a hundred times now.

Bowser > Galactic destruction > Sword.

Small battlefield is small. Large Bowser is large. Isn't there a ceiling in this room, too?

..wha? Dont trust the way the mario world works >.>

I don't really trust the way FF works either.

She had nothing to do with Cloud's durability. Since Cloud entered mega flare, there's no burning scar inflicted on Cloud's body even until Aeris showed up. The magic is her life energy which is bestowed into Cloud to perform his limit break in order to defeat Bahamut Sin.

Nein. And bowser isnt that bis, especially compared to things Cloud has faced,
Actually, NSMBW and Yoshi's Island disagree.

Yes, Bowser is strong and rather large, but Cloud could counter that advantage with magic like mini or toad, and could use slow or stop to give him as much time as he needs to summon, and could use haste to speed up the summoning.... and while I'm mentioning the spells he could use to pwn Bowser, he could just be a douche about it and not even give him a chance to fight. Cloud could use death and get an instant KO. Yes, in VII it does take time to use summons, but that's game play mechanics so you cant really count that, every move you use in that game revolves around the ATB gauge. and if you want to use the summon in AC then it really just takes a few seconds to do, some clouds form in the sky and then Bahamut flys out of them.

M&L:BIS Bowser disagrees with the size comment too. Galaxy Bowser and Sunshine Bowser are also pretty big. Especially if we put Mario's height at 4 feet.

You don't seem to be getting it, it takes time to cast a spell. With a small battlefield and a large Bowser, Cloud won't have that much time. Death spell instantly KOing also sounds like one of them thar no limit fallacies, as it likely hasn't killed anything like Bowser.

The Bowers in this fight isnt at horizon blocking levels.

No, you don't seem to be getting it, that's all game play mechanics, everything in Final Fantasy takes time because you have to take turns to attack. Cloud could use a speed drink to instantly give him haste, and then it would just take him a couple seconds to use stop. Then he could take as much time as he needs to use whatever spells or summons that he wants. Toad and mini could be used to take care of Bowser being really big, then Cloud would be bigger and could crush him with his foot if he felt it was necessary. You can take out the death spell if you want to, Cloud wouldn't need it to win, he could just use it to get an instant KO. and as i said before that's game play mechanics. Death has a chance of working on all enemies in VII, except for bosses (only because that would make the game too easy), regardless of their strength or size. Bowser isn't a god, he can die. Their is no reason why death wouldn't affect him.

According to the OP, it's just Bowser. Bowser can be big.
