Alright! So we have Rylis shooting at the droid... another six damage... and then Rhys booking it toward the loader droid! The zombies were two turns away from where Rhys was standing. They are now two turns away from his new spot.

The loader droid is, of course, more than happy to have a target. It punches at Rhys for five damage, slamming its fists into the ground beside him.

This turn Rhys will be climbing up the droid. If he fails, he takes damage. If he succeeds, he'll be on top of the droid with Rylis.

Hey, I said I was shooting the zombie crowd this time, not the droid 😛

"Stupid droid... stupid planet... shoot flesh-eating denizens!" Rhys yells as he begins his climb.

My apologies, Rylis. The droid, then, is at 68 damage, and your first shot actually gunned down a zombie, catching it in the chest. Your second, however, does more than that- seven successes takes its head clean off with a sickening squelch.

Rhys tries climbing! Sadly, he's no Jedi. An Agility of 5 is impressive and he gets one success, but the loader droid beats him by a success and firmly ass-plants the smuggler for six damage.

Rylis puts down another two zombies with three successes and two successes... but as the zombies get closer, one of those left behind gets back up...

Let's use that to deter the zombies a bit.

Rylis spends this turn holstering her pistol and lugging out her portable blaster cannon, intending to blow the zombies to bits.

Rhys rolls three successes this time... but the loader droid rolls four! You don't get your defense bonus when climbing, and take eight damage as he nearly smashes you into the ground.

And now the zombies have arrived!

Yeah. You start getting the hell out of here, I'll stick around to blow up a few more zombies and then make a quick jet-assisted escape.

That would be all fine and good if Rhys were not now in melee combat with twenty plus zombies...

And how can Rhys best remove himself from that situation?

By allowing the free attacks that come with fleeing, or by killing all of the zombies. Neither of which leave you terribly confident.

Well, Rylis is still going to make zombies explode. Preferably not ones that are on top of Rhys, he can shoot them off himself.

Rhys will shoot zombies too, then, well away from wherever Rylis is shooting.

Rhys opens fire on the crowd of zombies amassing about him and the loader droid. Two successes drops a zombie but doesn't end it. Four successes on the next does better and destroys a zombie. That one won't be getting back up...

Rylis lobs a thick laser beam into the crowd of zombies. They're making no effort to get clear, but Rylis must not have used this thing in awhile... one success does little more than damage a zombie, taking off its arm.

What happens next is vaguely surprising for a few reasons. First, the loader droid decides now would be the best time to simply go quiet... it stops moving and appears to go back into sleep mode. Second, the zombies do not all surge on Rhys and eat him, instead boxing him and the loader droid in. Third, the zombies that were once Imperial stormtroopers are the ones that move in to attack! Ten zombies on lonely Rhys... at least his Defense bonus triggers here, and armor mildly reduces the incoming damage. Five of them hit, for a total of five damage.
