^ this might be a bad time to pitch this then........
i'm thinking of throwing a tourney with the theme being "lame/never used" characters, for example: turner d. century, triton (inhumans), conduit, rocket racer, vibe, etc
the characters nobody really pays attention to but paired with the right characters (or debated properly) they can shine
the big names have been done to death, it'd be interesting to see what some people could find out of the depths of the comic bargain bin

Hey if that doesn't take long to organized im down to that..
Just too bad KK's tourney finished prematurely.. lol I had a few ideas that was not used, should have put it to 2nd gear when i was facing with Inmalist.. JK ahh well...
Good idea having a tourney with a b lister char tourney... There's a few WS char. id like to use..
Is it just popularity? I get the feeling that it's also lame-itude.
For instance, if Wildstorm wrote all of Spider-Man instead of Marvel, and if Wildstorm was still the indy-ish corporation that it is, Spider-Man would be a great pick as he wouldn't be popular despite being awesome.
Creeper on the other hand, is, the creeper. Lame wherever he is.
I realize it gets really subjective, but I think it's more interesting to target overlooked-due-to-lame characters rather than never-looked-at-due-to-few-appearances (or separate company) characters.
I also realize the line between those isn't exactly distinct, and that this wasn't the most clear cut way I could explain myself, but I'm still wrapping my head around the idea.
