Pokeverse v.s. FFverse

You're saying that now? IIRC, you were one of the main ones using the anime to justify Pokemon abilities like Charizard's feats. Maybe it was MooCow
The anime to an extent, but when it disagrees with the games, the games are the winner. 😐

The don't use the anime then, and decide what's the true source of canon. If you can use Anime anyway why can't FF side use dissidia?

Problem solved

Let me know when Exdeath actually does something impressive.

I mean Pokemon battle related.

It was a Growlithe. It mistaked Jenny for someone else. And it left a mark. Rattatas aren't that strong.

Manga, Blue's Charmeleon vs Koga's Arbok.

Rattata have plenty of power behind their teeth. Raticate gnaw through concrete. Stats may not represent their actual abilities. ESPECIALLY not in the anime. Slaking does not have the strength of Regigigas, even though their attack stats are equal. And Gardenia has a Turtwig which was somehow much faster than it should have been.

the anime /is/ canon, but alright, you made a fair point. No Dissidia, and no anime.

and no anime.

I know, but Phanteros made a fair point. While the anime is canon to an extent, it's kinda ghey of me to allow feats from that, but none from Dissidia.

Unless I just allow ACC? mmm

Most of the anime is different from the games.

Pikachu beats ground types with electric attacks.
Sabrina has psychic powers dwarfing even Alakazam.
Meowth beating Onix by splashing water on it and using Fury Swipes.
A giant-sized Dragonite existing.
Meowth talks.
Rhydon's horn is a weakness.
One of the Nurse Joys is superhuman.
Unown creates Pokemon.
People surviving Pokemon attacks.
1st Gen Ghost Pokemon can beat Kadabra.
Ash Ketchum getting gym badges for dumb reasons.
Giovanni is still around and is still head of Team Rocket.
Paras beating Charmeleon.
Bruno defeats a giant Onix.
etc.

the anime /is/ canon,

So Officer Jenny who took a bite from Growlithe who is stronger than a concrete chewing rat has better durability than Cloud? 😆

The Void is more impressive than anything Arceus has done in the movies.

Well ACC is a newer version of AC.

Pikachu beats ground types with electric attacks.
Games win.
Sabrina has psychic powers dwarfing even Alakazam.
Games win.
A giant-sized Dragonite existing.
Not inaccurate to the games, where a giant bellsproud is the central pillar of a tower.
Meowth talks.
Not impossible.
One of the Nurse Joys is superhuman.
Games win, and wait wut?
Unown creates Pokemon.
Doesn't contradict the games, at all.
People surviving Pokemon attacks.
It's a kid's show. 😐
1st Gen Ghost Pokemon can beat Kadabra.
Can be done.
Ash Ketchum getting gym badges for dumb reasons.
Totally irrelevant.
Giovanni is still around and is still head of Team Rocket.
Games win.
Paras beating Charmeleon.
Games win and epic PIS, hates that episode so much.
Bruno defeats a giant Onix.
Games win.

Sabrina wasnt stronger than a Zam.

And a Dodou could talk(?) in the game.

Anime feats should still be accepted.

Most of those are from the earlier anime. Much more comic relief in the earlier seasons, and it has a disadvantage in a lack of Pokemon special abilities.

ACC does not include the entire FF Universe. And the heroes in the movie don't even use their materia so it actually makes them seem like physical skills are all they've got.

So if a name means they're magical, they now dwell in pockets.

Excellent logic is excellent.

I think you overlooked one thing, though. They are not called Pokemon because of Pokeballs. They are called Pokeballs because of Pokemon.

I see you really overlooked how they became called POCKET MONSTERS, you think they called them that before pokeballs?

I have invented a device that captures magical creatures!

What will you call it?

A Poke Ball!

Turning into a chicken or egg scenario.

In SoulSilver it says before pokeballs were invented, people walked around with their pokemon, but that doesn't necessarily mean they were called pokemon then.

It seems logical pocket monsters could only be called pocket monsters if you could keep them in your pocket, and so the pokeball, pocket ball, was invented first. .. I think.

Obviously they would have to test it first, leading to them being able to keep it in the ball and in areas such as their pockets.

Which eventually leads to pocket monsters as the name and pokeball should just be all too easy to put together ermm
