If anime is canon, Pokemon are weaker than the levels you and others keep wanking to. Irvine alone would take out 90% of the Pokemon world.
It was a Haunter, if I remember right, that's second evolution, same as Kadabra. Also, ghost moves = supar effektiv v.s. psychics.
Haunter is part poison and Kadabra does more damage.
