Nidoking vs Tyranitar

Outside of gameplay Nidoking can't even hurt Tyranitar, who doesn't need Earthquake to level a mountain. 😐

In gameplay, level 1 rattata > Nidoking. (But not Tyranitar)

We stopped using those, remember?

We all played Pokemon: Gale of Darkness. Nidoking can use Thief, removing the Focus Sash, right?

We stopped using gameplay mechanics? So Nidoking gets rapestomped, agreed?

I actually never played Gale of Darkness, but don't see how it's relevent to a Rattata with focus sash killing a Nidoking.

Heh, outside of gameplay, a Pikachu could somehow beat Tyranitar, just like Pikachu beat Dragonite, etc.

In Gae of Darkness, you have to use a lvl 5 Rattata to beat a lvl 100 (something) as a test. Your example made me think of that. But anyway, will Thief work?

No, it does damage before it steals the item.

Oh really? Poison Sting. Rattata still dies 1st turn, even with the Sash.

Poison sting only poisons 10% of the time, would let Nidoking win one in ten times against a rattata with a focus sash at level 1. 😐 GJ, it's not quite spite.

That also goes for any pokemon with that moveset, too.

Poison Point as well. Or Poison Jab. Flamethrower, Sludge Bomb, or any move like that. Or Flinch moves like Headbutt.

1. Wha, Ratata's here now?
2. A pokemon in this scenario wouldnt care for inducing a status problem on a Lv1 or Thief unless they knew what was going on.
3. You were meant to say Double-Kick.

Real battle, Ttar would win the majority of times.

Hey, how does the Focus Sash work against multi-hit moves like Fury Attack or Double Kick? If the 1st hit brings you down to 1 HP, does it continue to block the other hits too?

@Rain: I hope you meant in the anime...

Multi-hit moves would kill a Focus Sash Ratata.

Not anime or VG, but a KMC fight which is the closest thing to real.

The anime is less canon than the games in which Tyranitar cannot lose to a Nidoking. 😐

Oh, ok.
"NIDOKING USES DOUBLE KICK, SHIN. HA!"

I'm 100% positive that Nidoking wins the VG, 50% on the anime, 20% on KMC rules. But, heck, KMC rules nerf my guys, so bleh.

In the VG, Nidoking has nothing but gameplay mechanics and even then things can go horribly wrong for him.

the anime is irrelevant, they're not seperate except where once contradicts the other. KMC rules don't nerf anything.

Unless its for pis Tyranitar would win in the anime too.

Nidoking still destroys Ty in one hit in the VG.

KMC rules nerf immortality, for example.

The immortal things are the only thing nerfed.

He said that they don't nerf anything.

Nah, only in gameplay, in which a level 1 rattata rapes your precious Nidoking. In canon, Tyranitar is totally immune to Nidoking.

No. Double Kick. Rattata's gone at any level. In canon, Tyranitar cant stop Nidoking from bowling him over.

mariofacepalm You're missing the point. The only scenario in which Nidoking stands any sort of chance is the ridiculous one in which Nidoking can get himself raped by a level 1 rattata.

In canon, Tyranitar can cruish nidoking like he's made of sand and crackers.
