-Nidoking charges head-first at Tyranitar.
-Tyranitar doesn't stop the attack.
(-Very unlikely that it wont stop the literal head on assault.)
-Tyranitar get stabbed in the body.
-Lets say Tyranitar is now slowly dieing, will be a slow fatal blow.
-Nidoking is in a vulnerable position.
-Tyranitar on instinct hits Nidoking.
-Nidoking is killed under that power.
-Tyranitar wins in this instant.
-Extra- Tyranitar dies after its victory.

If you dont get it being stabbed wont take something like Tyranitar down the second it pierces. But, getting hit by mountain busting arms will finish it in one.

who said he'd make a frontal assault?😬 no way! with his IMPRESSIVE speed he could easily outmaneuver ty. also nido's not just gonna wait 4 ty 2 die, that'd be stupid. nido outmanuevers ty, stabs ty in the back(that one fatal wound), dodges ty's counterswing & uses Brick Break(thats another fatal blow), & then he proceeds with ramming his horn right thru ty's skull. GAME OVER. also, ty's hit wouldnt b enough 2 kill nido anyways, cuz of his STEEL-like hide(not rock, like mountains). sure a mountains bigger in quantity, but nido's hide is of better quality. plus ty's hit probably wouldnt be that strong unless its a REAL attack move. attacks hav that mystic power that makes them stronger than regular hits so...

If you want to go down that road, is there anything in that manga or anywhere that shows Nidoking being threat to anything or live up to its feats? You're going into a mange pis moment, I'd stop there.

The best Fissure shown is from Groudon, and the results; didnt KO Kyogre. A legendary attack based ground type pkmn didnt KO or do real damage on Kyogre who's lowest stat is defence. Nidoking isnt KOing anyone in one hit with these moves.

Nidoking got owned by Mewtwo. Mewtwo > Togepi.

The attack is not important. The power displayed is all that matters.

i dont like it when u say what nido would do, cuz u always put him in a position that he could easily avoid. say he does do a frontal assault & impales ty. nido JUMPS BACK after the assault & runs off. ty couldnt keep up with nido 2 begin with, so he damn sure wont b able 2 keep up with him now. nido then goes home UNHARMED 2 his nidoqueen, blood on his horn, & enjoys the rest of his day, while ty assumes the fetal position & dies an agonizing, venomous death.

...your answer is that Nidoking lost to a 'prove he's a threat' question? Oh and on that Gary's Nidoking (that we can assume is strong as its the 8th gym and its Gary) lost in one throw when some guys Rhyhorn got the same treatment and was ok after.

A strong avoidable move yeah.

Right, right so you expect anyone to believe that a bulky Nidoking can get off a good stab with its main weapon being a short horn 'on his head' and be able to jump away before Tyranitar can react? No, and here's a reason why; Tyranitar's gonna see him coming and will be prepared.

Prepared for his omega ass whoopin', that is. 😆

Kidding. 😐

The Togepi Double Edge was obviously for comic relief. Besides, Ty was shown to be completely okay after the fight. (A little annoyed tho)

Togepi should've cracked its skull open on him, really. It's just as dumb as a Pikachu being stronger than a Dragonite, but it happened, and the guy lost the fight because of it.

Pikachu wasn't stronger then Dragonite 😐

@ Rain: I didn't say it. I rest my case.

So youre finally dropping that poor manga moment?

I can see it irritates you that your man Tyranitar got knocked up by a Togepi, lol. 😄

Again, that Togepi wasn't alone. It had assistance from a Politoed's Water Gun (Tyranitar's type weakness) when it used Double Edge. If Togepi beat Ty by itself, that would've been a whole other story.

The point is that Togepi should have broken it's neck on Ty's body, but it didn't.

I wasn't aware Togepi had a neck.

Figure of speech.

When Togepi's opponent's already weakened by a Politoed's Water Gun attack, I reckon it would be less likely for it to break itself on its opponent's body. Regardless though, it was a pretty nonsensical manga moment.

If a little water is all it takes to make Ty's supposed "uber defense" drop to the point of a Togepi hurting it, then I'm surf Aqua Tail or Surf will work wonder's for Nidoking.

You know, Nidoking is part Ground. And Tyranitar also learns Aqua Tail.

It's irrelevant anyway since Tyranitar will literally just stop the attack and proceed to demolish the thing that used to look like a Nidoking.

No he wont. Ty'll get owned by 3.3 lbs of body hitting him.
