Well, that will take a few minutes- the fighting would most likely be done by then.

It's "What a wonderful smell" territory, Galder. It is WASTE reclamation after all...
They are only just wide enough to admit a man, and it is pitch black (and rather sludgy) inside.

"They know we won;t use the switch until the last moment," says Saar, "because if we DO use it, we are dead, we have nothing left to stop them killing us. So their plan will be to surprise as AT the last moment and rescue her or kill us before we have time to hit the switch.
"Don't worry, I am sure you will think of something. After all, you will have to say SOMETHING to Kuylen when you explain why you jeopardised my whole operation by smashing down that door."
(this is a rather childish solution..but i can't think of something better at this late hour)
"how about if i (or you) get into the sarcophagus. That way..when he comes near it, we'd have the element of surprise. You'd still be near it with the switch. Unfortunatley i don't have my saber...we'd have to figure a way to imobilise nayler (shivers..or something)"
(better said at third person. Saar stays in the coffin because he has the saber...if he's not willing to give it to me. Meanwhile, i stay with him holding the switch and doing the chit-chat. When nayler kills me (no wait...i want to be inside😛) saar jumps out with the saber.)
With a fast movement, you gun down the man with his own pistol, Wraith- but it is getting a little 'Butch Cassidy anf the Sundance Kid'out here with all the gunfire coming your way!
Dak- do you mind waiting until Wraith is done and you two can meet up?

"Then they will kill us," says Saar. "If they think they CAN'T rescue Latara then they have nothing to lose. Our entire strategy was to make them think they COULD but make it seem too hard to try."
There is another great noise from the door to Saar's office.
"Well," says Saar, "I am going to head for the roof."

You may be able to try and rig up something, Galder, though fixing it to the top will be VERY hard, and neither of you are the sort of template (Fallen or Executor) that is best at putting this kind of thing together.
Rah turns back to Galder "I estimate thats it's 30-40 metres down..." he pauses looking around "With nothing to climb with..." Still looking round. "Haa, how about, we cut 2 holes in the roof of this pipe and tie your synthrope through them. It'll be crude but it should do the trick!"
With that Rah lights one half of his sabre and proceeds to cut 2 holes in the top of the pipe, 20cm diameter and 30cm apart. If needed he will lift Galder up to do it if the pipe is very high.
(Out of curiosity what is the diameter of this pipe we're in?)
