USH'S GAME EPISODE IV- 'CHASE'- DARK SIDE AREA

Takuan follows saar up the whole he made.
"let's get out of here.." he says.

"I'll take north. Rah, you head south," Galder says. "Persis, I'm still deadly enough to kill you, despite the radiation. You'll die before I do, at any rate..." Galder yells as he sprints down the corridor, heading north.

"That's a plan aint it!" Rah says as he sprints off on the south path sabre in hand ready to light if needs be.

The both of you sense danger all around. Persis has his speakers set up all over.

"I don't think so," says Persis. "I shall have the secrets of the Mausoleum, and rule a Galaxy where you are just a forgotten corpse..."

Rah, something slashes towards you in the darkness.

Saar is studying the citadel compound with his electrobinoculars. A laser shot explodes nearby youi.

"Too much to hope they weren't watching..." says Saar. "But Trokair's army is approaching.

Now listen. We cant get out of here whilst their orbital defences are still intact- they will shoot us down. We need to destroy their weaponry guidance systems."

"well...let's head to it" says Taukuan

Rah dogdes, brings his sabre blade up in defense. Looking and sensing attacks his assailant.

Galder hears Rah swing his lightsaber. "Rah? Did you find something?"

What am I doing now?

Just waiting for Wraith to post again, Dak, and you two are back together, he's all done with the fight. If you wanted to say something to him, you may as well do so now!

Rah, when you raise your sabre to block the incoming attack, it neatly slices through the coolant tube that was swinging towards you. Freezing cold coolant starts to spurt out everywhere, accompanied by Persis' laughter...

"Could be difficult," says Saar. Miramar are clambering up the otuside of the citadel, laser blasts coming towards you.

"I'll blow the systems," says Saar. "You distract them, take heat off me. When you are done, get as high up as possible!"

"what do you mean as high as possible?. what ship will we be using?"

Galder turns to see Persis and then calls to him. "So Persis, you decide to show yourself. Come face me, Persis. I'm ready for ya."

Galder ignites his second lightsaber, his face grim with determination. Illuminated by the glow of his sabers, he face looks ghastly.

Wraith deactivates his lightsaber and clips it next to the other sabers at his belt. He holsters his blaster pistol and grabs a small bacta container from his belt and peels off a part of his armor so he can tend his wound.

"Hello Dak, glad you could join us..." Wraith says as he sees his repitilian partner approach. "Where's Kuylen?"

"He's back at his ship. A few Jedi got at it, though. We're off to find them. Any guesses?"

You are both a little battered. Just so you know, Wraith, Kuylen has asked for you and Dak to go hunt the Jedi to keep them off his back but it is NOT an order- it is voluntary. And you will have to find them yourselves.

Errr, Rex? I don't recall saying you had found Persis... all you can hear right now is the noise of the leaking coolant where Rah is.

The doors to the room you are in, on both sides, just slammed shut, Galder.

"MY ship," says Saar. "Get going!" He has pulled out some hi-strength wirte from his utility belt, and has started to abseil down the side of the building.

(ok..but what does he mean by "get as high up as possible!"😉
takuan gets up and somewhat visibly runs in the oposite direction to wich saar is getting down

(I'm assuming that the coolant that escaped as Rah's blade passed throught the pipe instantly evaporated due to the blades heat)

"Argh" shouts Rah as he dives into a forward roll out of the way of the escaping coolant. Rah comes out of the roll with his sabre ready.

(Once you are in the ship, he wants to get as high as possible, I suppose...)

(Sorry, I was misreading. I thought you wrote that Persis slashed at Baylin and that Persis cut the cord. My mistake.)

"Come on Persis, face me! Get in here right now, you coward!" Galder calls out. He tries to open the door, but doesn't expect it to open, so he sticks his lightsaber through it and begins to cut.

Galder, you start to cut through the door- when your sabre jams against something 'solid'- and there is the crackle of sabre meeting sabre, and Persis' loud laughter from the other side of the door.

Toxic gas is starting to flow into the room...

The coolant is under high pressure so most of it would survive- sabres radiate heat poorly, else the handles would melt. Yup, I know, it makes no sense.

The doors in here have sealed off as well, Rah! And freezing cold coolant is flowing everywhere!

He means what he says, Takuan. There is a considerble amount of laser fire coming at you. How do you plan to get down from the citadel roof? It is built like a ziggurat, basically constructed of very large steps.

(argh..i don't even have a saber. btw i read that sabers don't radiate heat at all unless the blade is in contact with something. Then it works the same as a chainsaw...the flow of power that is.)

takuan distances himself from them on the roof a bit. He draws a thermal detonator from his belt and heads to asses the descent possibilities.

(Weird the way lightsabers work...)

Galder ignites his other lightsaber and sticks it through the door. He also moves the other one quickly to another spot, trying to cut a good sized circle with both sabers.

"You're a cheating bastard, Persis! Once I get out, your head will be my trophy!"
