Yes, he can. He took off his helmet while in his personal "sphere room" in TESB. Vader can take the helmet off if he "begins to swell". RJ, however, contends that Vader will die and that the boy won't panic while being TK choked.

I stopped using Force choke. It's too easy.

The Force turns Harry into a rag doll pinball. Harry will be too disoriented to cast anything except a shit spell in his knickers.

Vader didn't use his force choke to kill people as quickly as possible.

Harry can't use the Death Spell. Harry's reflexes are not as fast as Vaders. Death Spell has to hit. And **** off with that 'millisecond' shit. 🙄
