You keep saying that.... yet its highly silly.
Guns're imperfect. They are mechanical and jam.
Yet, would you feel so strong in its failiability to aim it loaded to your nutsack, and pull the trigger...? No. Of course you wouldnt.
Precog worked MOST of the time, which should be enough for this debate.
Besides. Nearly every bit of force blindness can be attributed to the way the galaxy is at that time.
TPM, ANH, ESB and ROTJ, the advantage was with lightsiders.
On AOTC, ROTS, and Half of ESB it seemed to be the Sith's turn.
Balanced was restored at the end of ROTJ.
So, in an Balanced forcey time, your boy-wizard quarterback will be toast.

Can travel anywhere, yes. Is everywhere? Depends on your point of view. Magic is a way of harnessing and focusing natural energy.
You mean "magic energy" not "natural", dude. Dumbldore explained that a bit in Book 7. Magic is magic and the force is the force.
Like I said, the force is not magic and magic is not the force.
The burden of proof is on you to prove that, in movies 2-6, the force is called magic by someone knowledgeable of the force OR, someone in Harry Potter calls "the force" magic.
No matter what, RJ, you cannot prove that they are both magic, as it pertains to Harry's universe....ever ever ever ever. 🙂
You have to keep in mind that if you are going to claim that, say, a protego charm will defend against the force, you must prove, first, that the force is magic. Since it's not and you would offend a force user if you called it magic, you will never ever be able to use that line of reasoning in any thread. In fact, in the EU, people that were dumb/ignorant mistakenly called the force, magic.
So, protego is being touted as an energy barrier, not a magical barrier, and it blocks energy, not magic.
That's not true, at all.
"Protego (pro-TAY-go)
"Shield Charm"
"protego" L. to defend
This spell creates a magical barrier that will deflect hexes thrown at the caster."
Not an energy barrier, a magical barrier.
How do we know this for a fact, though?
More on that later.
So, this magical shield charm which protects from MAGICAL attacks is not going to protect against physical attacks. 😐
Also, the time it takes Harry to cast the spell, Harry is already chopped up, choking, crushed, or force pushed so hard he's knocked out.
Harry Potter will definitely try that as he tried it against Voldy at the beginning of their duel.
😐
Killing curse is won't do jack. Vader's first reaction will be to block it with his armored glove. If not that, then his sword, which is not him.
This assumes, of course, that Harry even has a chance to get off a spell, which he doesn't. So the killing curse is out and not even usable.
😐
RJ, do you want to tackle the barrier argument? I have more on that, if you want to argue that. I know others in here (not all of them) are not very knowledgable about Harry Potter, so you could at least debate these with me and ignore the others.
