LOK3 Defiance vs. Twilight Princess

In what way was he beaten by the Sages because he underestimated his opponent?

When you learn about the Hero's Spirit and all that, this will all be a funny memory.

Kain is less intelligent than Link, imo. Water Temple, 'nuff said.

True. Didn't Ganon design some of those puzzles?

I forget the exact line but it went something that he was caught because he was basically overconfident. That's what I got from it.

Kain's up against a lot more than Link is imo.

No, he was caught because he was blind.

Have a link? Why does ganondorf seem completely clueless about the master sword here and Link?

Due to spoilers in Ocarina of Time, Ganondorf was captured before ever getting the Triforce of Power, and never actually met Link or saw the Master Sword. He had no way of knowing who or what he was up against, because this was the first time he was up against them.

Lack of knowledge =/= lack of intelligence.

Great Deku Tree's insides, Ice temple in Zora's Domain, Jabu Jabu's belly; all these were influenced by Ganondorf.

You didn't take that literally did you?

To not know about the character who just destroyed the guy you are sponsoring Zant and to underestimate him despite this is unforgivable.

Please gentlemen if you discuss oot please put it in spoilers.

Dude lol, he was literally blind. He didn't have any pupils in the cutscene.

I'll have to rewatch it. How was he rendered blind?

I forget. Been a while since I played that game. And I don't want to play it again any time soon.

I have three save points and one is right at this scene in the mirror chamber so I can rewatch this scene. I'll watch it again tonight.

He wasn't blind. I've watched the scene enough times trying to show BT.

"In all his fury and might, he was blind to any danger."

Actually, now that I think about it, TP is early in the timeline, and Ganondorf is pretty young there. He's much more intelligent after this point.

Zant was insignificantly weak compared to G-dorf. The only reason he had any power was because G-dorf gave him some.
So, just because you killed the King's guard dog doesn't mean you can take him on yourself. Or so he thought, heh heh...

That's what I thought off memory is that it meant he was blind to any danger aka overconfident but when he acted so sure of himself I thought maybe I might be wrong.

But you'd think he'd actually take him seriously while he just looked at Link as some insignificant gnat.

Demon Thief + Triforce of Power = immortal. It makes me feel good to say it.

Bad guys tend to do that.
