Heh. In any case, when I ever manage to get a job again and can afford a PS3, I can see MK9 at least being one of the *only* things that I get both versions of, in all fairness (as opposed to MKvsDC, the Capcom games, and such), as well as some of the exclusives whose names are not Killzone.

So eh, what do y'all think the first thing you do on MK9 is gonna be? mmm I'm one of those people who familiarizes themself with the game first and unlocks as much stuff as they can before going to play versus online/competitively. Never understood those who tend to do the opposite, personally. That said, the konquest/story mode and krypt will be a first priority.

story mode most likely, while browsing the move list of each different character i play as. probably have a bunch of vs matches with my brothers.
won't be much of an online player.

Fair enough. There are some aspects of local multiplayer that just have more magic to it than playing online, though perhaps I'm saying that under influence of nostalgia. I did enjoy playing against some locally more than I did online when it came to MKvsDC, with that said.

I'm glad he has the triple under-the-ground fireball thing again. Always loved juggling opponents with that. Hope he might also have that slide/trip move he had in MKvsDC.
Eww... WTF. He looks even worse than he did in Annihilation arguably, and that movie was a shit-fest itself. I don't see the other characters' portrayals being that bad though, at least, so I still have some hope.
But yeah, I'm pondering on whether to pick up the game at Monday midnight or just wait until after my class on Tuesday.

damn they just made raiden such a ***** in this game i cant believe it first of all at the beginning he is owned by shao kahn without even fighting back and looking like some cry baby, then at the end once again shao kahn owns him and raiden says " yes you won" and just before shao kahn is about to finish him again the elder gods help raiden he is just such a ***** in this game its just pathetic i used to love him but they just made him a *****
then they went and made reptile, baraka, goro, kintaro, and noob saibot punching bags i mean every single body in the storyline got to beat those guys and its all canon ... i mean give me a break... sonya beating up sub zero? stryker beating up kintaro??? kabal beating up noob saibot? even night wolf owned noob saibot, i hated it that they chose some characters as holy and undefeated like jax sonya liu kang and the good guys while the more monster characters just got there ass kicked all over the place... i mean seriously people kintaro got beat up by stryker? thats f^cked up
