He also seems to be similar to the Master Sword Spirit.

Dude must be pretty strong to stop Link's sword with his fingers. Link gets hyped to hell around here but his strength is undeniable, and will probably be consistent in this game.

So "Demon Lord Ghirihim" is probably our first look at an interloper.
