Xeth storms out of there, tapping into the Force to aid his movements! Four successes allows Xeth to Dash away from the Champion and through the trap set for him as well!
He runs into another Champion, however. Balance doesn't quite save him this time.

Hmm. Ti, I say that you keep moving ahead. You can handle yourself just fine if anything really threatening appears, and I can Dash to catch up with you.
Vera-Kin breaks away from Tilulla and performs a Force jump up onto the second floor of one of the nearby buildings. She cuts away a few of the arrows before going after the archers themselves.
Swap OGu for BGu, tap BGu.
Initiative turns to them at 1-4.
I will let Tilulla use Coordination to evade the barrage of arrows. Remember to plan if you don't get initiative.
Vera-Kin's tap does her well. She then makes short work of two of the archers.
Navir and Barker play catch up!

Xeth gets wailed upon! Even with his extra armor, he takes a solid blow from the Champion (though he manages to cut down a Maltite who misses). He then has to duck under a flurry of arrows before he can respond to the Champion.
At least he has his breathing room...

And finally, a refresh!
Tilulla charges into the fray! Tapping Forward Guard gives her 25 dice to throw at the Champion... more than enough to kill him in one when she rolls sixteen successes, 22 damage. Feel free to describe the flashy super kill!
Vera-Kin takes out two more archers while Barker and Navir finally catch up. Navir recognizes that Ti may need help and shoots down two of her attackers before they reach her.
Ti still takes some hits, and Vera-Kin gracefully arcs around an arrow. Navir and Barker keep their heads down.

Swap Forward Guard for Focused Guard, and I use the extra defense points to defend from whatever archer Vera is least likely to get to.
Utilitarian in her strokes, Ti easily finishes off a Champion not with a flourish but with a scarily succinct chop through his torso that lands before he could react. I then head toward the 2 remaining Maltites in my path.
1-5, so the Maltites strike first. One Maltite misses Tilulla and goes down when she disarms him. She takes a hit, then destroys that one too.
Between Vera-Kin and Navir, the archers are taken care of!
