Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood

Well not every member of the Assassin Order is descended from Those Who Came Before, either. Both Ezio and Altair basically picked random people to train under them. The modern-day Assassins even address this if you talk to them in Brotherhood. Shaun was just a regular guy before Rebecca rescued him and had him inducted into the Order.

What a grumpy, obvious comment...

Not Grumpy, just dark. The entire Auditore families death was a dark time in AC 2 and it seems like something that may have been expected. Anyone who watched the scene of Ezio delivering the papers could have seen Rodrigo Borgia in the background and he was clearly up to something there. I would kind of think that Ezio would have seen him, though had the game only shown from a different view then he actually saw or if he was just thrown off because of his increasing worry for his father and brothers; too much so to notice the man in the hood.

Either way, it wasn't grumpy, it was intended to be dark >=)

As for this part. I think that it's safe to assume that Giovanni knew of Ezio's Eagle Vision. My guess is that maybe it's a Male trait or perhaps it is recessive. We don't know because we never got to see through the eyes of any other member of his family.

Good theory. Lucy didn't seem to know about it when they were escaping Obstergo, which she probably should if every generation had it, her being an assassin and all.

I think this is guessing too much. Her and Warren had been examining him as Altair inside of the Animus so it may also be safe to assume she knew about "Eagle Vision", she just didn't know that Desmond had the ability to use it. Again, Giovanni did say that it was in their blood, so I don't think its every Assassin but just that Bloodline.

I just got the game today, is it just because of the sudden rush of new players from christmas or is matchmaking always this miserable?

What problem(s) are you having with the matchmaking?

Just getting into a game, it gets to about five out of six people or so and then restarts the matchmaking 😬

Ahh, yeah, I've had that problem before too. Usually if I back out and try again a couple times it winds up finding a match.

The matchmaking is definitely something they need to tweak and patch a bit more.

Speaking of, if you're playing on 360, what's everyone's gamertags? Mine is Silver Stardust.

DraconicDak here.

And yes, really hoping the Animus 2.0 update includes another round of patches.

At least it doesn't split us up every time when we try and enter a game together like it did before!

yep, just got the game yesterday, thanks mom, i have to say i love, although would prefer altair over ezio, i still havent got to the recruting part, i just got to the part where you renovate the theives guild into a inn. i think the multiplayer is a very nice fit to the game

You should play against Streetmarine I hear he sucks 😗

Just started, seems exactly like ACII. Not a criticism, mind you, but you can tell the turnaround was quicker than between I and II where teh games felt very different.

The interaction between Desmond and Lucy seems....I dunno, forced? Flirty/combative love interests are always hard to pull off. But I did geek out a bit being able to play as Desmond and Ezio in the same setting early on.

Well, of course it feels like AC2. It's a direct continuation of that game 😛

I wish the graphics were on par with the character movement animations, which are so fluid and seamless, in comparison the facial animations, textures and lip syncing are horrendously bad.

You watch the lip-synching? Meh, I couldn't care less about it. Though despite its beauty at times, I can understand the "sameness" of the textures to be a valid issue.

I don't notice when it is good, but when it is flapping jaws it really kicks my immersion in the nuts and pulls me out of the story. I had the same problem with Alan Wake and Heavy Rain to a lesser extent.

Freaking Uncharted 2, it was so polished in every way it has ruined other lesser games for me. 🙁

Just beat the game. Another amazing game and leaves me with more questions than before. Yet I think I figured out the location of the Assassin's Creed 3.

Spoiler:
The French Revolution. This is because Shaun says two symbols (Masonic Eye and Phrygian Cap) are only found together in one place. However, he is unable to finish the statement. They are found together on the Declaration of the Rights of Man and the Citizen, a document from the French Revolution.

This is a good find is true. Where does Shaun say that, though?

EDIT: Ah, never mind, found it. I think this is good support.

Loved this game, can't wait for AC3 and I REALLY hope it's during the French Revolution, that would be really cool, I think.

And I am getting so addicted to the multiplayer portion of this game, I love it! I can't get enough of it! Which is really bad for things like essays and whatnot that are coming up...

edit.

So in the new Game Informer Brotherhood won GOTY for 2010.

Player-voted GOTY.

It also got player-voted for best action and best competitive games.
