Insensitivity to the sensitivity of others, I find is a good definition. I'm all for freedom of speech, but there are certain words that make me feel upset. To continue speaking those words to me, or in my presence, is a blatant act of verbal terrorism. I can't remember what the number is, but in the American Constitution, one of the amendments makes it clear that verbal harassment can't be tolerated, and anyone practices it, can be punished by law.
