This is an interesting statement (not to mention mildly insulting), because of the implication. Tell me, what do sales mean to you? Are sales directly correlative to quality in your opinion? And are you assigning relative importance to the sales based on magnitude? Would 100 copies sold be clearly superior to 99, or would the ratio have to be greater to matter?

Because, really, you seem to be adamant about this whole sales comparison, having mentioned it several times. I'd love to hear the full explanation behind it. Anyone can yell at you and say that sales don't make a good book (and they have), but I'd much prefer to hear your side and see if the justification holds up.

i was just playing for the most part

Use a smiley next time then. Because you're not very good at communicating tone through text.

Ah, the artful dodge. Or the dodge, at least. Try to have a justification on hand in the future if you're going to troll with obviously insulting and/or baited statements.

doubt it

So issue 2 is out. And let me say that nothing really happens in it that wasn't seen in the 2 previews that marvel showed (the first being Mika attacking Pluto/Hades' realm, killing zeus again, and ares yelling, with the second being Silver Surfer fighting with thor and herc for a bit with Galactus watching). If the bar that they set this against, as per their solicitations and marketing, is Infinity Gauntlet ("bigger than the Infinity Gauntlet!"😉 and Annihilation ("more cosmic than Annihilation!"😉 pak and van lente came up really short to an embarassing degree.

The one main thing that the previews didn't show is that herc has the power to summon a particular character and they have an interesting conversation.

Spoiler:
So he summons Eternity. This marks the official retcon of Amatsu-Mikaboshi, as Eternity reveals that Mikaboshi is an "anti-god" and the opposite of Eternity. However, unlike the infinity gauntlet saga, Eternity will not interfere because Mikaboshi's aspirations are higher (to unmake reality) and to move against mikaboshi is essentially moving against the opposite of himself, as he and mikaboshi are 2 sides of the same coin; he cannot move against Mikaboshi because everything that mikaboshi stands for and is, Eternity defines himself to be the exact opposite of that. Which makes zero sense...good is the opposite of evil, yet since they are opposites they don't come into conlfict? whatever. So we have Oblivion, Death, Abraxas, and now Amatsui-Mikaboshi all claiming to be Eternity's opposite. Take your pick.

Issue #2 ends with the setup for issue #3, the previews of which we saw last week.

And I really don't like how pak and van lente write the silver surfer. I really don't.
