Goku has super speed, that is why he tagged Frieza. Goku speed is above Thanos. I have proven that Goku can see the world in slow motion.

LOL, it wasnt a smile but Goku flew out of a blast that resembled an atomic bomb without any damage or fatigue. This was during his fight with frieza; during the time frieza trapped him in that ball and was bouncing him everywhere and frieza told him that if the ball touched something it would explode and he was hit by two nukes during that instance. One was when Frieza shot the ball with a nuke which sent Goku flying and the second was when the atomic bomb went off due to the ball touching Nameks surface.
Goku tanked both but if you want to know the time Goku smiled during being hit by a nuke, it was teen Goku during his fight with Junior. Junior created a nuclear blast which covered the entire island and after the dust settled Goku was still standing and looked up with a smile on his face.

I remember this episode, but I'm not sure I can actually call them nukes based on looks. And even then, I wouldn't call them nukes. The DBZ characters are limited energy manipulators. Huge explosions can do next to nothing to the environment surrounding them, and smaller sized one can rip people apart but only create craters. I think it's very difficult to tell the amount of damage certain blasts do. Look at when Vegeta killed himself to try and take out fat Buu. He expelled all of his energy, killing himself in the process, and if I recall all that it did was create a huge crater. Yet before he even reached Earth the first time he destroyed a planet (which I believe was extremely small) with a measly two finger blast. I'd imagine he hit the core of the planet, like Frieza did with his in the fight with Goku.
And I only skimmed some of the recent posts here, but that would also explain the galaxy Broly destroyed having planets with only scarred surfaces.

Naah, all of those were nuclear blast and the Vegeta incident, he expelled all of the energy from within him which is kind of different than blasting him. It is more powerful.
