It was a question, because her initial post stated there might be different scenarios depending on type of business and location (e.g. Southern USA). I thought about just reversing it and using Asian as the race, but I thought that since she was talking about the South in her post she was probably thinking more along the lines Black-White tension down there.

we had bn told that recently a blk airman was found missing after leaving a bar.. it was in the briefing. i am sure if you google for military newsletter and german news involving missing airman you will find to be a result of hate crimes..
this is one that i just found not sure if the man was blk but it sound similar to has happen in the past

Airman found dead near Ramstein identified

The enlisted airman found dead Sunday morning in woods outside the village of Mackenbach, Germany, near Ramstein Air Base, has been identified.
Airman 1st Class Jayson Wayne Bethell was reported missing by his wife at an undisclosed time, said Darlene Cowsert, a Ramstein spokeswoman. German police and Air Force Security Forces airmen took part in the search for Bethell.
Investigators are currently working to determine the cause of death, Cowsert said. The condition of the body was not disclosed, as the incident is still under investigation, she said.
