A pretty good episode all around. Asami and Hiroshi are kewl people, Hiroshi in particular. I see him as a guy who has a lot of respect towards hard workers and dreamers. A real man who became awesome.
Tarrlok is freaking great. So smug and manipulative but at the same time being a decent bender, so he's not the usual snakey guy that sucks at fighting.
Amon is cool and I liked how he is wrapping himself in mystery. Really digging him as a villain. More than Azula and perhaps more than Ozai. Steve Blum has such a good voice for the role.
The development of Korra is getting good and truth be told I already like her more than Aang lol. Tenzin is awesome as always and it was really cool seeing that...well flashback I guess of the old Gaang. Aang looked so cool.
With the good must also come the bad...and the most consistently bad part of this series has been Mako. And he is no better here. And I really hate that two characters I like will be the "options" in his stupid little love triangle.
He's been a consistent douche so far you mean. He was a complete dick to Korra before finding out she was the Avatar(i.e someone more important than him), is a hypocritical douche about Bolin getting in trouble with the Triple Triads, even though he fully admitted that he used to run with them when times were hard(and times are hard for the Fire Ferrets as a whole), he was brutally mean to Hasook, completely unwilling to let Korra join his at the cost of his dream out of stupid pride, and he is just a dick to everyone. He was one hair away from *****ing Asami out for hitting him(even though it was partially, if not fully his fault) before finding out she was bonerific. The only time he has seemed like a nice person is when someone is being useful to him, like treating him to a hot date or sponsoring his team or getting his team a place in the tournament.
He's a dick and I dun like him.
