Mass Effect 3

See, I'm not sure they would. I think they'd pose a legitimate threat, just not any more so than many of his villains. Seriously, Daleks and such are godly with prep time, but if a Dalek fleet met a bunch of Reapers, the Reapers might own. Who else? Cybermen? Wrecked. This current Silence nonsense, debatable. If the Doctor just happened upon a Reaper, sh*t would be real.

But that tends to be a hobby of mine in general. I take sci-fi movies/games/books/etc. and mentally put The Doctor in. It's all kinds of fun.

Bumping this so others might respond.

Demo wasn't too long or too short. It was great "teaser" material. New gameplay and graphic upgrades are awesome, and the melee attacks are just fun. I'm now chomping at the bit for March 6th, and I'm praying this guy who ordered the Collector's Edition at my GameStop doesn't pick it up, cuz my friend works there and he'll let me get it if he doesn't, lol.

The Reapers are not worthy of being mentioned in the same breath as the Daleks IMHO. Their ships can destroy planets casually, and IIRC they have wiped out entire galaxies from time. Not to mention much faster FTL travel, travel to the Mass Relays and destroy them. gg Reapers, lol. With prep it becomes inarguable, the Daleks are then elevated to a Multiversal threat at their best (THE DESTRUCTION! OF REALITY! ITSELF!).

The Cybermen I am not entirely sure of, but if anything Season 6 has shown that when it comes down to it, the Cybermen simply can't **** with a bloodlusted Doctor (As shown when several of their ships just sort of blew the hell up).

Not sure about the Silence, we would need to see more of them.

I doubt the Reapers could so much as dent the TARDIS, honestly. IIRC doesn't he also still have that device which creates a spatial field around the TARDIS? Oh, and boarding the Reaper shouldn't be much trouble, since lolTARDIS. Indoctrination is also not likely to work, Time Lords such as the Doctor are immune to the telepathy of Eternals.

Granted, at the moment, this is largely speculative, since the extent of the Reaper's technology and shit is not fully known yet.

I can't blame you, I admittedly pit Whoverse nonsense against other Science Fiction universes in my head as well. It is honestly the most powerful Science Fiction universe I know of.

Well indoctrination isn't telepathy in any real sense. It's an energy field/untraceable signal that directly affects brain activity over a period of time depending on how useful you are to that specific Reaper and or how pissed they are with you. It's not like Sovereign or Harbinger are just directly trying to influence your mind. It's more like someone holds your eyes open and makes you stare at a bright light until you can't take it anymore or any other form of subtle torture until you do what they say.

I never got into Who because well, I found out about it like 75% into the latest season, or the season before this one. Then just never got around to it. However, being immune to Telepathy won't necessarily make him immune to indoctrination. It very well could, but the opposite is also true.

The Eternals make the Reapers look like down syndrome children playing with toys, honestly, so I would say it would make the Doctor immune.

The demo was pretty good. Though it didn't have what makes the Mass Effect games special in it, so it's hard to judge it. The gameplay was pretty solid and the graphics looked great.

I noticed the missions seemed shorter than in the other games, which makes sense since there will probably be more of them. Hopefully this means that each character will have more dialogue lines on the ship between missions, since there will be more missions.

I'm not a big fan of the new controls, tbh. I feel like the game plays kind of sluggishly.

I like the gameplay and I really enjoy the Kinect support in this. The voice commands in ME3 are so good, I actually feel like a commanding officer and there's only one word to describe the Omni-Blade: BADASS. I'm disappointed that I couldn't hijack that mech near the end of the single player even though it's been told in a bunch of sites that you can. Also for some reason, I can't get on the multiplayer in the demo and I know it's accessible because one of my friends was actually playing it today.

It's only if you have Battlefield 3 that it's available.

Otherwise, it's out on the 17th.

Really how does that work?

It should work automatically. Just log in to your Origin account on XBL.

edit- Anyway. I don't understand why they couldn't just make the controls in this like Gears of War (which so far has the best 3rd-person camera controls in any game that exists).

Frankly, after putting about 80 hours into Gears 3... I hate these controls.

Not necessarily a written one.

That's only true if you're a pedantic dickface.

Great so there's a chance riots will happen. Smart move, EA.
