Either way, I don't consider it Paragon because you're wiping out an entire race in the process (the Geth), and if you played like I played, you saved The Geth and made them pretty much organics. The only pure Paragon choice is the synthesis ending, I think.
Spoiler:
the two members that step out with Joker at the end are randomly chosen from your survivors, and EDI is included. Multiple people on the GameFAQs/GameSpot and BioWare boards reported EDI emerging in the Destroy ending, making the Catalyst look like a liar. Given that, I choose to believe the Catalyst is manipulating you, and the geth are just fine.

Read back a bit. The "blue" ending is the Illusive Man's, and he's certainly not a Paragon. Especially when the previous "control sentients against their wills" options in the series were all Renegade choices. The color is just the Catalyst/Harbinger manipulating you.

Juts because it was TIM's goal does not necessarily make it the Renegade option. Furthermore, your interpretation relies on the Catalyst to be unreliable, which could be completely wrong (although I really do like the theory). With that said, if the catalyst is manipulating you it's still not the Renegade choice but rather the wrong choice.
I loved the game. It's brilliant. It felt that the gunplay/power use was incredible and better than some pure action games. It felt right playing shooting people, a huge step from the first game. The story was emotional and I teared up in some scenes. I also liked how the story had a few bits of humour (Garrus and Joker making fun of each other was hilarious). Overall, fantastic game. The Mass Effect trilogy ended on a high note and I personally think is the best story in this console generation.
I liked the ending. I thought it worked well with the story. Of course, I wouldn't mind having something showing your companions after you made your decision but it still worked. Unlike the last major ending I was looking forward to (Lost), I never felt the Mass Effect series had a lot of questions that needed to be answered. Reapers are bad, you need to do something about them. You do that at the end. The only two question that I had (why Reapers do what they do, why the Illusive Man is ****ing shit up) was answered.

AI god-kid who made the Reapers specifically to destroy organics is a reliable source of information. It's the boss of your enemies, and backed into a corner. There's no reason not to expect it to lie for the purposes of preserving its plan. After all, the Reaper "solution" only doesn't work anymore if Shepard keeps fighting. The Control ending effectively makes Shepard a Reaper, and then she'll probably eventually see the Catalyst's way of thinking and the cycle begins again. The Synthesis ending was what Saren was attempting when he was indoctrinated by Sovereign. That ending is doing the Reapers' work for them. All this goes double if the Catalyst is really Harbinger's influence.
Quick question.
The previous two games saved your game after you completed it. The third game did not. I assume any decisions you made in the game will not reflect in the next game.
The reason is because I chose an ending that I felt was the best for the story I somewhat created. But after finding out a few things, I rather have the ending
Spoiler:. But if doesn't make a difference, I rather just catch the endings on Youtube.
where my character lives
Make sense. Unless the next Mass Effect game is in the future and has Sheppard as a non-playing character but that would assume Bioware has future story ideas already fleshed out.
I don't mind it personally. I found the ending provided me closure to the story. I had the same feeling with Mass Effect 2 even though Arrival bridged the gap from the 2nd to 3rd game. I'm looking forward to any sort of DLC because I enjoyed Mass Effect 2 DLC and I want to continue to play the series.

...Right. If the god kid reaper is trying to indoctrinate you then obviously they will manipulate the colors to make killing the reapers renegade.
Spoiler:🙄
I chose the right ending, for the wrong reason lol I figured the catalyst was bullshitting me the whole way and I knew that trying to control the reapers was too good to be true, so I thought that choosing to control them would be the renegade option but then I found out that that kills them, so I saved the galaxy despite the fact that I was intending on screwing it over
I didn't know there was colours as well. Oh well.
I don't understand what the incredible problem people have with the endings. Is it just a case of people bitching online? Or is there an issue. I don't understand the idea that people are annoyed that none of their choices they made in the three games are not reflected with the endings. Isn't that the case with all three games? Each game has distinct ending that doesn't change with any sort of choices.
I might be wrong and forgetful but you will always defeat Saren and Sovereign, you will always defeat the human reaper in the second game. Why would the third game be any different. I could understand if the game ended abruptly but it did not. The ending was fitting.
Some people have legitimate problems with the endings that are reasonable enough.
Most seem to just be bandwagoning though. With hyperbolic complaints.
And others still I think are just sad that the story's over, and taking their frustration of the fact that they may not ever get another game with these characters that they love out on the game's ending.
You guys don't get it. The endings don't make sense!
Spoiler:
Okay so in the Citadel, there's a Reaper AI/God/Kid thing and it's the one responsible for creating the Reapers and if the Citadel has this thing, what's the point of leaving Sovereign behind after the Prothean genocide? Couldn't the Catalyst have just activated the Citadel in ME1 and then everything would've gone according to plan? Our choices were supposed to be reflected in the end but they weren't. While they didn't seem reflected at the end of ME1 or 2 but this is ME3, the conclusion to Shepard's story. Everything he/she has done should've been worth mentioning in the end at least. Instead, almost everyone's **** gets ****ed up, the Mass Relays explode, and galactic civilization has been reduced to modern civilization (if you know what I mean) no matter which choice you make. What's the point of gathering this huge army if what you do is still gonna end with the same thing with the only difference in one of 'em is Shepard surviving?
