You should go read your e-mails. It'll cheer you up.

Ashley Cut-content. Though I don't know why it was cut. If they kept it in I would probably give more of a shit about her.

I think we can all agree that what Joker did when the

Spoiler:
Citadel and Mass Relays blew up
was not to run away from the battle, but broke the fourth wall and tried to outrun the ending haermm

I don't get why the

Spoiler:
SPACE MAGIC was damaging the Normandy anyway. The wave doesn't damage anything else in the non-sucky less-sucky endings.
That whole part is insane. It just raises too many questions.

Spoiler:
If the SPACE MAGIC destroyed not only the Reapers but also the Geth, then it must've went after EDI as well and since she is the Normandy, it would explain why the ship was taking damage for SPACE MAGIC was attempting to obliterate her due to being an AI.
That's my theory anyway.

So at what tech level do the reapers find worth harvesting you at? Is it space flight, or levels of citadel/prothean/reaper tech?

I think when a species discovers and has been using Mass Effect/Citadel technology for a while. Basically when most, if not all your tech is based off of Reaper tech in some way.

They left the Yahg alone so higher than that at least. I agree, the above seems likely. When you've discovered the Relays is when you get harvested.

Spoiler:
I guess that could make sense, but the Reapers weren't destroyed, they were just killed/shut down. There wasn't any physical damage dealt to them like there was to the Normandy.

That theory doesn't hold up because the Synthesis and Control endings don't do that.

Maybe it just didn't like the ship? I dunno. Bioware wrote this after all. Like the ending's supposed to make any sense.

Speaking of not making any sense, I'm still confused about the

Spoiler:
Catalyst's motivations. So it created AIs (the Reapers) to protect organics from AIs by killing the organics with AIs? And if the created will always rebel, why did the Catalyst think making more was gonna help? And isn't the Catalyst an AI so what the heck?

Spoiler:
To be fair, like backfire pointed out you can make a strong case for the Reapers not be Ai in the conventional sense. But as Nepth pointed out in a chart he linked, whether they are or are not AI still makes the logic stupid for numerous reasons. Like if they are Ai, saving organics shows that the cycle is fake if they aren't the whole struggle opens even more cans of worms. But, I do actually understand the idea behind the catalysts decision, just their are much better ways to go about it.

So I got Resurgence and the characters are only available if you buy 'em through packs as you progress. Figured as much. I knew there was gonna be a catch what this DLC being free and all. Oh well. Not gonna stop me from getting my Geth.

Liara is mai waifu.

Their faces creep me out.

I'm halfway through the single player on Insanity and what's really pissing me off are those Cerberus soldiers and Cannibals spamming the grenade throw. This is why that move was exclusive to Shepard in ME1 IIRC.

What class are you playing?

Engineer.

Yeah, I can see how that would piss you off, since Engineer relies on turtling behind cover while using robot buddies.

Having only played Infiltrator and Vanguard in single player, I haven't really had to deal with that nonsense.

I always thought Engineer got kind of screwed over, its the only class without a unique ability.

Other classes can use Combat and Defence Drones?

No, but Tali can.
