Thats' why I had always been adamant about Not trying to compare DBZ characters to comic book characters. As awesome as the DBZ story is, we don't have the proper data to translate them.

Then theres the metastroy of DBZ that doesn't help. By the end of dragon ball Goku was supposed to be the strongest there was having beaten kami (Kami can mean God). But Akira Toriyama-sensei's bosses wanted more, and they kept ****ing up AT's visions. Then Goku was supposed to stop after the freeza Saga. They kept futzing up AT during the android saga, chaning it from androids 16 and 19 to 17 and 18 and then again to cell. and then ccell changed a few times because they were never happy with AT's portrayal of the androids.

Then AT wanted to shift the focus of the story to Gohan in high school and do a romantic comedy... but AT's bosses would have none of that...

You gotta admit. The Saiyaman stuff was pretty lame.

😂

True on all counts.

One of the reasons I tried to motion for no DBZ threads in the first place.

Wouldn't the black hole comparing to the cl 100 hits be like comparing the cl 100 hits to the bladed weapons?
possibly. Guess it depends on what you think a Black Hole can do or not given the multiple theories.

You're claim is that power levels are not quantifiable.... but we can quantify them in a number of scenarios.
You're still dodging.

What is Thanos's power level?

We can quantify what a character can do based off of what they've done obviously, and multiply that by their stated increase in power (as with Frieza specifically).
And yet you can't do the reverse? Makes me think the numbers aren't in your favor then.

[B]We KNOW that Freiza was not using even 1% of his true power when he leveled Vegeta..
How much less? Based on what Freeza said?

Freeza became a liar when Cell came about. Who became a liar when Buu came about.

Actions speak louder than words. Because so many of the words from the vilians lips was so much hogwash.

What is Thanos's power level?

You can figure out B based on A, so what is A based on B?

Yeah. DBZ threads always end up like this when against people with similar feats. They always draw a crowd so people will keep making them though. It's like an exgirlfriend you take back knowing it won't work out.

Comic book physics do suck sometimes I'll admit that. Like the Characters weigh what they can lift thing.

Two Cl100 Bricks slug each other. They dont' move.

"Hey, I just hit you with a cl100 punch!"
"Yeah, well I braced against the ground so I wouldn't slide back!"
"But it was an upward hit to the solar plexus. how'd you stay on the ground?"
"uh.... It's a comic book?"
"What a copout..."

anyone want to calculate goku's weight via him training under 100 x earth gravity?

i guess his potential strength can be estimated from there, then the multiplier of becoming super sayajin added *shrug*

Ok, take Goku's normal weight. Now multiply it by 100.

Assuming Goku's around 200lbs, he'd be 20000 at 100 times earth gravity. With weight gear that could be anywhere from 20000 to 50000. So as of Freiza saga Goku has trouble with his own body weighing a several tons.

Then there was the time they tried to state on panel how much Goku was working with. That made a mess of things as it turned out to be not as much as they thought it'd be when all the calculations were done.

In DBZ, statements and showings are vastly different. Nearly every time. Even King Kai's world was 10 times Earth gravity, so Goku would only weigh around 1 ton. I even recal sometime around the Buu sage with Vegeta training at 300 times, which would still be far, far too low. And the 40 tons thing.

It was corny funny to some. I liked the change in pace with a romcom.

Lol at the comparison.

i think that portion with vegeta training under that gravity was filler

yep. in general, japanese animation seems to be much better in incorporating physics into fights...not perfect, but better.

Which does not really change the fact that it happened.

Which also don't change the fact that spiderman almost made thanos head do a 360 and gamora outright making blood splurt out of thanos mouth with a kick.

I suppose so. I admit I'm not really going for Thanos here, nor am I going for Freiza. I just think it's a bit of a double standard to disregard a black hole because of those while letting Freiza keep his feats when something like that happens.

no one is stopping you from making a gamora/spider-man vs thanos thread

The tail bite thing was pretty funny. Pointless but funny.

Goku can physically hurt Frieza anyway. Doing so with a bite, which is more likely to draw blood than a punch anyway, isn't far-fetched at all really.

Your entire argument doesn't make sense since goku entire body along with his inside was impacted by this gravity.

Kc supermans was DROPPED by starman who increased the gravity around him a hundred folds but we know and knew how strong he was.

Kc superman also built a device to aid him in walking on a planet with 10 times earth gravity.

You can keep the black hole feat but that still doesn't change anything since far less have hurt him.
