Ok, but with no Ellothiel posting you are out of luck on Tracking rolls so you will have to have some inspirations as to what to look for.
Though rumour has it that a Silvan has recently joined Farael's forces; whether that is true or not depends on whether Bardock joins in! Go bug him if you wish.
Elves are meant to be good at this kind of thing, yeah?
(And yes, he is a Ranger... and no, he did not take Tracking)
Well, you are in luck! Turns out that Silvan is here after all.

We can go into more detail on your character later if you wish, bardock. As it is, Lacharon has now become part of this effort.
Long story short- one of the great Lords of the Realm, Farael, has become convinced that the Orcs have a secret hideout in the Downs that divide Arthedain from Rhudaur, and this explains some extremely rapid responses the Orcs have managed to mount to events lately. Last story, the players exposed the means by which the enemy was getting their information on where to strike in the first place, but this follow up is ti find where they were striking from.
Not everyone agrees with Farael, however, and whilst he is a renowned warrior he is politically weak. His Eastern army is under-funded and badly supplied and he lacks the resources- especially in horses- to mount a proper search of the Downs. He's asked for volunteers to search as much of it as they can... and some of the foreign adventurers that have come to Arthedain are doing just that. When you turned up- eager to find Orcs, I think, after your long crossing from the east of the mountains- you were directed towards these guys to help them.
Finding them was not hard as their idea of wilderness survival is what you would call pathetic. Anyone could see their blatantly obvious camp site from miles off and stay clear or ambush them, and if it started raining heavily these guys would not survive more than a few days.
Talking of wilderness survival- we still need to see to Menelacar's leg!
Still, why doesn't Lacharon say 'hello' and see what the guys have so far!
Lacharon looks at the dwarf then looks at the campsite again and says "Yes, I would say I can. I'll find a better campsite at the first opportunity. First let me take a look at your friend's wound"
So, I do think Herbalism is the skill needed for that, and with Ush's permission I'd take that instead of the additional development point in "Stalk/Hide".
I also think Foraging is the skill to find a better campsite? I don't know if it isn't too late today to look for one, if not Lacharon would do that after helping Menelacar, otherwise it'll have to wait for the next day.
Separate rolls, I am afraid, so you will need to prioritise.
The good news is, going looking for Herbs- and then using Herbalism to prepare them- will do more than just treat one bad leg; it will enable you to start building stocks of healing stuff for various uses, from burns to breaks to simply restoring lost hits.
You can buy this stuff from town as well but it is highly efficient to do it this way, and when you get good you will be able to find and make stuff that outclasses anywhere you can buy from save Rivendell.
