USH'S LORD OF THE RINGS GAME PART 4- The Hunt in the Hills

Would it be less risky if Lacharon went alone to see how many there were?

At this point, it is Stalk/Hide to be unnoticed so plan that out accordingly.

Talin is kind of waiting on Ellothiel and Palidan, isn't he? Can't really think of how to find what kind of creature the Orcs were hunting when all we had to work with was its blood.

Maybe find some open grazing fields?

Yeah, you pretty much need them!

Talin will grumble at the elves to stop being so damn slow.

Not sure what Lacharon has for Stalk/hide - Anglomir has 15, Menelacar 20.

A 37!

He is pretty awesome...

Should Lacharon try to stalk closer do some covert-ops gather some intel?

Well, better than doing nothing!

These are not hyper-elite killer Dunlendings, though, so don't expect you have to be a stalk-master to stay unobserved.

Lacharon goes solo tomorrow then!

We just want to get an idea of numbers for now, then we can decide if we can handle them or not.

Alright, that's what Lacharon will look for then, numbers, locations, anything that's odd or important...

Ok, then I am giving you an A, B and C of risk, where C is the closest and most informative, but most risky, and A the least. I am not telling you the difficulty numbers involved in each.

Hmm, I'll take B then, surely the perfect mix of risk/benefit

You roll... 28. Uhoh! That's a bit pants... One of the outlying sentries has heard something, and is making his ay towards your area!

-

Talin! As there is nothing going on in your side of things, you can move other to Menelacar and the others with the Dunlendings if you wish.

Hmm, is there a way to Hide from this one? Otherwise I should probably try to kill him quietly.

Killing quietly is not at all easy.

But hiding from him is a possibility?

Possible, sure, though if the roll cocks up he's kinda got the drop on you.

But right now I have the advantage, no? I spotted him but he doesn't see me yet. Could I use my bow and shoot him?
