USH'S LORD OF THE RINGS GAME PART 4- The Hunt in the Hills

Can Lacharon position himself in order not to be flanked. Like move around to use the one guy as cover against the other?

OK, so Talin will attack the 4, so one of Menelacar and Anglomir will join him, and the other, whoever is quicker, can run and assist Lacharon.

Anglomir is the fastest of you three!

You can forego your attack to make a Manoeuvre roll of your own, Lacharon, though the other will still attack you.

Hmm, I suppose I'll do a normal attack then.

So, Anglomir to help Lacharon, while Talin and Menelacar deal with the other 4 - that OK with you guys?

Anglomir will do as suggested and race off to help Menelacar. If possible, Anglomir will switch to his throwing daggers and pester the Dunlendings pursuing the elf with those.

Back for the New Year!

Palidan rolls... a 20. Sorry!

Lacharon is in trouble now as one Dunlending has him flanked for a bonus. Still, he should have made that flank last turn and not attacked, so he'll not attack this turn instead.

Lacharon's 69 actually scores a hit, for 7 hits inflicted! His foe hits him back rather harder though, rolling an 87 for an 11B. Fortune favours Lacharon once more as the B rolls too low to be anything, but on sheer hits he is running low.

Anglomir is racing over, but putting your sword away and changing to throwing weapons on the run is awkward unless you drop your sword.

Talin and Menelacar run in towards the other four, who take the opportunity to switch to their axes. You will all clash next turn!

Menelacar: 56 (1he)/5 10 (C) 86

Talin: 79 (1hc)/15 20 (C) 104

Anglomir: 69 (1he)/15 25 (RL) 190

Lacharon: 7 (1he)/25 35 (UN) 25

Dunlending E: 35 (1he)/0 30 (U) 23

Dunlending F: 35 (1he)/0 30 (U) 30

Dunlending G: 35 (Thr)/0 30 (U) 30

Dunlending H: 35 (Thr)/0 30 (U) 30

Dunlending I: 35 (Thr)/0 30 (U) 30

Dunlending J: 35 (Thr)/0 30 (U) 30

"For GONDOR" yells Menelacar, charging into the fray!

Someone save your new friend Lacharon!!!!

Well, I guess he'll attack the same guy as last round.

"For MORIA!" Talin roars, hefting up his axe and charging in alongside Menelacar.

Anglomir races on... he will arrive next turn!

Now the clash! As ever, the Dunlendings go first but they have not flanked you in their first round.

A 93 from G gets a nasty blow on Menelacar- a 13B! And this time he rolls high on the critical.

'Minor Forearm Wound- stunned one turn, +4 hits, two hits per round'' That ruins your attack I am afraid! His other attacker, who got a random shield assignment, rolls a 17, and it goes nowhere, but now he has Menelacar flanked. Talin takes a 75 on his shield but also an 82, getting him for an 8. Talin strikes back with a 72, getting him a 23E that kills his foe stone dead.

Lacharon rolls a 95- a hit! a 15C, hitting his foe in the arm and stunning him, saving an attack! And luck is with him, as the other fluffs his attack.

Palidan is loaded!

Menelacar: 56 (1he)/5 10 (C) 69 (Bleeding 2)

Talin: 79 (1hc)/15 20 (C) 196

Anglomir: 69 (1he)/15 25 (RL) 190

Lacharon: 7 (1he)/25 35 (UN) 25

Dunlending E: 35 (1he)/0 30 (U) 8

Dunlending F: 35 (1he)/0 30 (U) 30

Dunlending G: 35 (Thr)/0 30 (U) 30

Dunlending H: 35 (Thr)/0 30 (U) 30

Dunlending J: 35 (Thr)/0 30 (U) 30

Ouch! Shield on the flanked one, attack the other.

The luck of the elves. Lacharon will keep at it and attack the stunned one again!

I will shoot at E.

Hmm... I've made rolls for you guys but I don't want to proxy the others. Shall I move on regardless?

I'll PM Rex and Bart

Talin thinks Dunlending H would look better on the ground and hacked to death.

Anglomir continues giving chase, trying to get to Lacharon before he gets butchered by the hill people.

Yay we are all back!

Palidan rolls an 85, which is a good roll but at that range, lacking much skill and with unarmoured targets hard to get with a missile shot, it's still a miss. Lacharon's 59 does not help him either. One Dunlending misses Lacharon, but the other gets a 12B. A cut from his axe is within inches of hacking your leg off, Lacharon; you just get out but it carves a chunk out the front. +6 hits, stunned two rounds - 10 to all rolls, lose 1 hit per round.

Anglomir then finally arrives, and rubbish though he rolls it's still good enough for a 10A on F that pierces the hillman though the leg for 8 extra damage and two hits a round/

Menelacar's shoeld keeps him safe this round; a 17 D sadly gets no result on the wound. Talin then does ANOTHER high rolling 28E; an outright kill.
